He is just amazing, great song and well im sorry but i doubt spears or metallica will ever know what someone like wooten gets out of playing, he puts passion, gets happiness out of music not half a million dollar for singing into a mic and letting a computer fix up your voice and make the music your singing to.
Why do associate horns with Ska? Came right out of East bay Funk. Tower of Power. Ska is the result of mixing Rock and Jazz the wrong way. That why Fusion survived and Ska didn't.

I've come to the conclusion that when Vic goes "aaahhh" that he's made a mistake and I remember once I went to see him live in new york and I was REALLY close cause it was an open floor and I got there really earlier and during the solo he went "aaahhh" and I shouted back "It's ok Vic you sound great! No worries!" And he smiled back and nodded one of the greatest moments of my life.
victor is one of the most gracious, thankful musicians ever...he is incredibly talented and those saying bad about him need to go listen to your metallica and britney spears, and stay away from all of us tasteful musicians!!!
