  • I would call it the SWEET CANDY TWIST

  • Love it!

  • This really answered my problem, thank you!

  • I am new to the craft of crochet, only 6 months in the craft and I did it!!!!! It took me about 6 hours to do, but I did it, and my second one will not take as long as I understand it., You are a GREAT teacher, and your items are FABULOUS!!! It is a talent to be able teach all levels of experience...Soooo excited to give this hat as a shower gift. I'll have the most unique gift there...thanks! Your talent in crochet and in teaching is a huge gift to me.

  • I just love the idea of this baby hat. It is soooooooooooo cute. Also your tutorial is so easy follow. You are a good tutor. Thanks a ton for sharing, waiting to get many more of such wonderful stuff. :-)

  • I love your videos, and have just finished this hat, well pleased with it I am.

your videos are easy to watch and well explained, I wanna try your high top booties next for my reborn boy dolls. Thank you so much. Rosie.

  • That is the cutest hat EVER.

    It is adorable.

I name it possible. I am going to try it.

Hold my hand, I'm going in>>>>>>

  • Ooh, pretty! That's just gorgeous! I like!

  • Can comething similar be made on the circle loom? I really want to make a brim like that for the baby hat on the circle loom! Pleaseeeee figure it out & share... pretty pleaseeee! Thank you!

  • @Indiana1384 I got thinking about this... This is very possible. You just have to continually cast on with each line on one side of the circle and cast off on the other. Sounds more complicated than it is. Don't use the circle in its entirety... leave a two or three peg gap. I am going to play with it and see if I am right. Great idea! MKL

  • I want to buy this hat :) No time to make it! Where can I get one?

  • Hey Mikey---i remember my mom making fancy hats like this as toilet paper covers. Some were hats or a doll with a dress, that covered the paper roll

Cool tutorial.... i am making one..

  • es ist gut, daß meine drei Kinder schon groß sind.......also solch' eine Mütze?????????

  • omg michael!!! do you have a tutorial for this???

  • yep it's the baby's hat 1 ... a name hasn't yet been decided... I am waiting for the viewers to come up with a name and decide a final one... the names have been entered here and my facebook group account.

For now it's just baby hat 1

  • yea i found the tutoiral... i just started makin one... i just need to make the brim... can't wait to finish it... then maybe i'll upload a vid to show u the hat... thank you thank you thank you!!! ur fabulous michael! luvyah! muahugz!

  • peppermint pizzaz

  • It looks like the mop cap that the Ingalls' girls wore to bed on Little House on the Prairie.

How about mop cap with a twist or twisted mop cap or muffin cap?

  • Littl Miss Claus..you know santa's wife...and then just Little Miss if you do it in other colors.

Can you do a pattern that is more geared to a BOY baby......I WISH I could crochet as well as you and develop patterns....

  • OMG!!! I didnt think it could get any cuter!!! :D

  • To me, it kind of looks like a little birthday cake (or something Strawberry Shortcake would wear). Can't think of a name for that though.

Very cute ! Wish I had your talent !

  • I think Strawberry Shortcake wore a mop cap too!!

  • candy cane swirl

  • Can't resist Mike - I've got the PERFECT use for his new design SEEING you told us Danilel was on the "can" What about putting a role of toilet paper in it? LMAO. And knowing you two's sense of humour - tell Daniel the next time he's in the can to shut the door - THE SMELL- LOL LOL. Sorry, that's so bad. Just kidding - Thank God you don't have "smell-a-vision" :) You are so talented Michael. Cheers

  • Very cute hat!!! I am going to throw another idea your way so it will be a 4-1. You could add a handle and use it for a basket. I saw it the other day and it made me hungry for those old fashioned mint candies. I am going to throw in a suggestion for a name which will fit the main portion and the new brim. My name is Coil Cap.

  • when I seen the red and white one I first thought what a great cover for a glass pillar holder. I think this hat is really cute I have to think of a good name for it,

  • wow!!! that is fantastic!
