  • Polite? Honestly? People calling their president a Fascist, communist, Marxist Nazi are polite?

They don't even know what that means, that's like saying your Democratic, republican and independent all at once.

    800,000. tops.

  • @WiiAreSIN

have you changed your mind yet?

  • @treez78 Nope. You're still one the most impolite nonsensical political groups I've ever encountered.

  • @WiiAreSIN

what is your beef? also, the tea party is not a political group per se, it is the angered people of this country who will fight for their freedoms and future. to call people who understand just how bad it has gotten in this country nonsensical is well, nonsensical. do you believe our govt can continue to spend money we dont have forever without serious consequences? do you believe there arent many injustices with the courts? please explain our nonsensical positions.

  • @treez78 I was skating by a school one day, where you, the party, had an event. The signs held up had pictures of the president saying Marxist/fascist/communist/socialist/nazi..An people are verbally yelling this out loud and encouraging each other to believe this...This was just six months into his presidency. And How can one man be all these things at once? How can you stand as a united front when you don't even have a unified opposing view?

  • @WiiAreSIN

we are all upset with our govt, that is what unifies us. it is not a republican or democrat thing, its a pissed of american thing. its not a political group, its americans demanding representative govt. fuck bush, fuck obama, fuck the federal reserve. if you want to understand what my tea party stands for, im a member, i will give you the ability to check it out. would u like that?

  • And as I skated by, they called me a damned obama lover. I didn't even vote, they just said that because I'm black. But that's beside the point. You are a very political. Everything you've done is on a Republican bias, you rallied with a man who sourced the" University Of I Don't Remember," Your bus tours and signs were sponsored and printed by News Corp, you believe Obama implemented Czars rather than Reagan, etcetera, etcetera, ellipsis.

  • @WiiAreSIN

im opposed to generalizations. that includes the one you heard and the one you just gave me. i am a registered independent. i dont like either party. they are 2 wings but attached to the same bird. i am fighting for many things, and if you check out the link i would like you to view, u will see what we are fighting for. my local tea party is completely grass roots. would you like to view the link my friend?

  • On the money ! !

1.5 Million + where there. Will not debate anyone who was not there.

Next year draw straws & the guy who draws the short one shows up at the next March 2010. We the people of America will be back & will subtract one person knowing your plan.

View my march video. At the end you will see 2 photos taken from the third level of the Grant Statue. One looking forward at the Captiol & one looking back at the Washington Monument.

U Tell me how many where there?

    God Bless U.S.A.

  • Think about your numbers:

1.5 million tea baggers = 3 million balls for their mouths. That's a lot of balls!

Almost as much balls as it takes to call yourselves the "tea party movement".

  • Nice Try .

Keep posting your campaign of hatered.

    The Tea Party Movement.

  • Not sure what a 'campaign of hatered' is, but if it's meant to reflect my contempt for ignorant rednecks led by the noses by the proven racists Beck and Limbaugh, then OK, I will. Perhaps if you tea baggers were capable of original thought and laid off the racist anti-obama crayon signs folks might take you seriously. I forget, do you think you're protesting taxation and spending or simply freaking out in public because we elected a black president? Hard to tell...

  • It is racist for you to infer that we are racist or rednecks just because we are mostly white. Furthermore it is racist to think that all white people would protest a president just because he or she happens to be black. If we were protesting because of that we would be carrying the traditional signs of bigotry like a noose, a swaztika, whips, or signs that said nigger on it. You would probably call me racist for merely saying those words and in that lies our problem. Blacks preserve racism.

  • I should say politicians want to keep racism alive. Progressive politicians have made minorities their minions. They need minorities to play the victims. As long as they keep giving them handouts, they will always have their obligated votes. They are in effect slaves to the progressive agenda which has been destroying our freedom for the last century.

  • I don't know where they got the signs, but I know Crayola must have made a lot of money that day.

  • You tea baggers are the best, you actually think that you're emulating Revolutionary War heros. The Tea Party was a demonstration against Taxation W/out Representation. You tea baggers are protesting taxation w/out the-representation-of-the-out-of-touch-wingnut-that-i-voted-for. Failing to see the difference is an outrage to Americans who love their country and know its history. For shame.

  • Maybe the teabaggers meant to highlight the plight of citizens of the District of Columbia who pay federal tax and have no voting legislative representative? Perhaps they all just picked up the "Barack Obama is a Socialist,Communist, Facist, Muslim" signs by accident? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • The government has already passed the two largest spending bills in the history of this country and have increased the deficit more than all other presidents combined. They are proposing two more major bills and possibly another stimulus. We haven't even begun to pay these back. When we do, the taxes that businesses are going to have to pay will raise prices on everything. An indirect tax on all. I, my children, and you didn't vote for this. Taxation w/out being asked is w/out representaion.

  • Could you point out the exact time when the loop occured, and from which point it looped from? I was there. It really doesn't matter what the crowd numbers were. I know their sentiment is valid. For every person who was able to make it on that day, there were 10 others who couldn't. Those who couldn't held local tea parties. Don't let the media tell what is the truth. Seek it out yourself.

  • A LOT more people attended Obama rallies... this is about 70,000 people, nothing close to a million.

  • To put things into perspective, you can probably get more people attending a Dallas Cowboys home game at their new Cowboys Stadium, at full capacity (approximately 100,000 people) than you can convince people to attend this march. To my own surmise, 70,000 to 90,000 attended. At best.

  • Well, duh! Furthermore, you could get millions for an olympic event. These are for entertainment. For fun. These MILLION people, me included, took a day out of their busy lives, spent anywhere from 80-300 dollars to make the trip to D.C. to go to protest against the government that doesn't listen to them anyway. On top of that, we knew we would be dismissed, degraded, marginalized and covered up by the media and our own government. You weren't there sir. YOU were not there. I ask why?

  • Oooh-oooh! Can I answer! Regular, non-racist, Non-jesus freak, sane and rational people decided to stay home, point and laugh at the WalMart Greeter Parade.

  • Lol. It really is sad how programmed and closed minded you are. I am not racist. I believe in evolution. Sane and rational people are able to debate without resorting to child like remarks and behavior.

  • Malpecker,

Careful slinging those 'close-minded' and 'programmed' rocks around in that poorly built Glen Beck glass house of yours. You are clearly a racist, as your moronic post below demonstrates. Just because you say you're not doesn't make it so.

  • Malpecker,

funny how you accuse rational folks as being programmed and close minded, next you'll try having us believe there was a black hole over Norway. The easily led will believe anything the manipulative will tell them. What a tool.

  • @malpenguin

great comment. i was there too and felt the same way. we are getting stronger and stronger every day. keep the faith!

  • I was there, I live in DC. There was no way that there were 1 million people there. From what I saw on the mall, I would say that there were maybe 50,000-120,000 people there.

  • We weren't allowed on the mall. Take a look at all of the pictures and videos. The UK actually did a scientific calculation of the total space and the space that one person holds and they estimated 1.2 to 1.5M as well. I asked a police officer after the rally and he said 1.2M as well. From what I saw when I was there, I estimated 750k to 1M. Regardless of what it was, the movement has actually had an effect since. Obviously it was enough.

  • Dude, I was at the tea party thing. I was impressed by the size of the crowd, but it was definitely not more than 500,000 people. There was a larger crowd at the National Equality March and people estimated that be 100,000-250,000 people. But crowd estimates are subjective.

The movement had an effect, but I don't think it was a positive one...

  • @msammas sorry about late response but i live right outside dc and i love the feeling when i see all these fellow americans protesting the socialist regime of our president and his cabinet. long live free america

  • What the MSM (fringe media) fails to understand, is the size of the crowd while visibly impressive is ultimately irrelevant.

Moreover, what they truly fail to acknowledge is that for every one person here, there are probably 500 more at home that couldn't make it to this particular rally on this particular day. Are they really asserting that EVERY person that disagrees with Obama's agenda attended the rally?

    Intellectually lazy.

  • Sophia Elena. T'amo. You are the greatest.

  • Never seen so many people before either, and I showed up at around 3pm. Good job on taking the extra step and clarifying for some facts for those that watch Mass Media or just have their head in Kool-aid land. Liberal/NeoCon Totalitarianism is evident to many everyday and growing.

  • Not like the 9/13 rally where they really were walking around the fountain, but I think you stopped it before they came around a second time. Good job sticking up for yourself! America needs more serious and honest journalism. I look forward to monitoring your successful career.

  • LOLOLOL .... Thank you, I love it! Particularly, the chanting of Here comes the Mob. Grt job, again, thank you for this.

  • Describing how the shot was framed and executed at the first post would have been helpful. Your current spoken explanation should have been included in the original posting.

I HOPE people question their sources of information and cross-check. I HOPE people question numbers. I HOPE people question and verify everything before going off half-cocked.

  • Thank you. This is a much better edit of the tape. In the higher-speed segment, I think the editor of the original video was going for a cool look rather than clear documentation. IMHO the speed was far too fast to discern what was happening, giving the illusion and the possibility of a loop-job.

  • Besides proving that more than 60,000-70,000 people attended the rally, it also debunks the rhetoric that only white people showed up. I see hispanics, I see blacks, I see Asians, I see AMERICANS exercising their 1st Amendment rights. No arrests, no violence, and everbody seemed to enjoy themselves. Good Video & GREAT JOB!!!

  • I was there, Sophia's footage fits my experience. Thank you sophiaelenareporting!

  • I was there and there was at least 1.5 million ppl there thank you Sophia for showing the world this great footage im sure that i am on this film... somewhere i walked past where you are filming
