This technology is old as Nikolay Tesla (1856 – 1943) discovered it which has been kept away from us because of profit reasons from the general energy suppliers.
You can harvest even energy from Cell phone broadcast antenas and even from the either in space....
Not really dude. what about in your car, walking down the street, its FREE energy. I understand we are used to consuming like a MF, but there is something to be said about free power.
How long do you suppose it would take to charge a cell phone battery off this crazy device?
All you need to know is the amperage/voltage of the harvesting circuit which they will never tell you, because it will be so small their meter will probably not even register it at all.
The math of batteries is not complicated or hard to do. The amount of "free energy" in the air is extremely small, and the smaller their antenna the less of it they can harvest. They have a very small antenna harvesting a very small power source.
How do you know what I watched? Were you there? Were you even IN Vegas? It can charge any mini-usb device. Yes it has an internal battery, the internal battery was CHARGED by the WiFi harvester. Thus the phone was charged by WiFi.
Im sorry but the power at which wi-fi is broadcasts is less than 1/8th of a watt normally.... 1/8th of a watt is only when your within a few millimeters of the wi-fi antenna itself. Correct me if Im wrong, but that's how my physics teacher explained it all.
To me, Hank gives off the vibe of a guy who spent the rest of the expo fishing for a fit-looking, 20-something dude to share his hotel room with.

From what I hear it's a trickle charge. As goofy as it seems, why not take advantage of the free power if you have wifi around you for most the day.
Especially when the alternative is a wall charger that sucks power whether your phones connected or not.

Special sales offer I hear. Additional free snake oil dispenser :-)

This thing totally works! Watched it charge a Blackberry with my own eyes. Took 1 hour to charge it from 30% to 100%

@DetroitTechno76 Your forgetting that the device probably has a built in battery and that is what was charging the phone.
While it is possible to harvest radio signals for power the amount your going to get will be less than what a cell phone uses in standby.
it's all marketing gimmick so they can get funding for more projects :)

@commandergc So your saying this product may never sell, but its a false proof of concept to getting funding for other junk?
grandpasghost 2 years ago
oh they'll sell it i have no doubt. but i bet it will be sold with a usb cable to charge the charger (just in case).

Are we just ignoring the inverse square law?

It's amazing. It can charge up in something like 10 years with ideal conditions!
