playing f minor in an A minor key sounds pretty evil (love that though). However, this chord contains only notes that are already in the key of A minor. the 3rd (or aug 2nd) of f being the leading note of the scale...so it is not really a deviation..It isn't used very often. but it is very cool. Aother cool progression that breaks the rules is I VI iv N V (Am FM dm BbM EM) play the N and the V for both for half a bar.

@SixStringManiac11 I've tried the seven string and it's badass. I own the old six-string (Fixed-bridge EMG 81/85, before they put in coil tap 89's I believe), if you get it set up properly and take care of it, it really is an amazing guitar for the money.

Mine is a little sensitive to temperature (I've heard this complaint about the C-1 Classics as well), but since I moved into a place with central air it plays really well

I dont know what chords ur sweeping but they do not seem to be related to some key....(all the sweeps were minor.. at least that what i thought i heard)

try to learn sweeping progressions that relate to a key. take for example Aminor:

A nice progression to sweep is : i VI VII V. (a minor, f major, g major, e major)

this vid shows that you play fast and clean.. but do also try to play something sensible..

@MikeTheGuy00 I get what you are trying to say... you shouldn't use templates only.. this is what happens in popmusic all the time i.e. I V vi IV.

however it is important that you deviate from the rules with limited frequency.

If you over use deviations from the rule then the exception will become the new rule and your music will become atonal.. (just like in this vid)

MUCH better than the last one, but you're still going faster than your fingers can... Yet. The trick to playing fast, is to play things extremely slow till you can really play it cleanly, then increase your speed until you fuck up, then slow it way down again. A metronome will also help immensely. I'd also suggest learning how to play in key... speed means nothing if it's not musical. The technique is also waay off the mark. Your picking hand is all over the place. Address the strings in the same place every time, to keep the sound consistent. Stop waving the pick backwards and forwards, it will kill any accuracy you have.

Sadly, I don't think there's any underlying accuracy. Slow it down by about 10 to 15 times. No joke. Your left hand is waving about like crazy, not consciously playing the correct notes but just flailing in roughly the right direction.
