They're not Muslim, they're Christian, I know so because JCTV (Jesus Christ TV, teen satellite tv channel) play them regularly. I for one wouldn't mind if they were muslim anyway at all. Come to think of it I don't know of any Muslim bands. Maybe I should look one up!
someone can tell me the reason for wich most of american people commenting in youtube seams to care so much about the religion of people in a band? it's not our problem... and so many people seams to be shoked by the fact that mewithoutyou have some jewish or muslim beliefs or influences...
it was the same when i travel to canada (i am frenc), and people make stories and stories and cant stop talking and saying disgusting things when something or someone has to do with another origins as theirs

Other lyrical themes explored include suffering and self-doubt." That's the rest of the paragraph. They don't want to be labeled a christian band, because when christian comes to mind these days most people think of someone who thinks everyone is going to hell. He teaches about forgiveness and inner change in his songs, but he is a christian himself.
