@Kotiro44 Thank you for your comment. I have studied about Maori people and know what you mean. I love the harmony they sing when singing their traditional songs. The music you have on your channel is great and I invite all viewers to click on your channel name and hear it. I take it, that that is a Maori group. Thank again for your comment. "Things shall be even better than they were in the past". You can not destroy the Earth. The Earth will destroy the destroyers first.

Awesome video brother, the music is great, the lyrics mean so much and pictures are amazing. I was born and raised in Tanana, Alaska, I am Koyukon Athabascan/German. I was pleasantly surprised to see the view of "Nuchalowya" from the lookout on Mission Hill. God Bless.
@CarlRayErhart Thank you for your comment brother, glad you like the video. In your video of the running of your dogteam, the music goes very well with the team running. For you viewers who are not from Alaska, you might not know that the Erhart Family are famous sled dog racers in Alaska. You can click on the CarlRayErhart and see videos of their dogteams running.
@BoydCommunications Ana Basee is how we say thank you in our language. I appreciate your view, your comment, your knowledge of my family and for encouraging others to take a look into our lives. God Bless.
Thank you very much for your comment. I would like to know more about your stories of the "Dine' Nahasdli'i . It is the first time I have heard about this. I am a person who is interested in all people's beliefs. If you like, please send me a personal message with more information. Again, Thank you and hope that the statements about the Dine' coming from the north did not afind you.
Hi! I'm Koyukon Athabascan, Caribou Clan. My family is from Allakaket and we got family in Hughes, huslia, (Bettles(I think?) and all the way down to Koyukuk too. Baassee for your song!
@Indigenous97 You are welcome! In the past many Athabascans lived, as one from the Canadian border all the way down to the mouth of the Yukon. We must still live this method and help each other in a good way, because there are very highly educated people elsewhere, that wants to distrupt our traditional ways.
Hail to the nationalist indian movement, may your lands return to your soverinity, as they once were :) From a Fleming(Belgium/Netherlands) in Europe!
Hail to the nationalist indian movement, may your lands return to your soverinity, as they once were :) From a Fleming(Belgium/Netherlands) in Europe!
Thank for your comment. Glad you love the song. The words of the song say, "All along the Yukon River live a proud Indian Nation". All though the song is primarily about Gwich'in, this line refers to all Athabascans living along the Yukon River including Koyukon. So that is why it shows the Tanana
this song brought many tears towards my eyes, down pouring like a waterfall of the Canadian steppe grasslands. This is truely a masterpiece i am now speechless towards the beauty of this song. Stay gold BoydCommunications Stay gold my love....
Some of your native Gwichin words sound like our Apache words...cool man. Geronimo is a man, forced to defend his very present in his world (our world), he loved his people and the land and did everything in his power to defend it. Just think if the United State President were like him...
Some Gwich'in words sound like Apache words because Athabascan Indians and Apaches are related. It is part of the oral history of Athabascan Indians that long ago it became to crowded in the Northland and some of the people left and went south to follow the sun. This is where Apaches and Navajos came from. That is why Pete Peter had Geromino in his song and video, because he is his relative.
@BoydCommunications I am religious Dine' (Navajo) person from New Mexico and in our oral history, we were created here in the Southwest. I don't believe I came from the north. North for us, is the direction of evil. In "our" stories, we call you "Dine' Nahasdli'i"- meaning 2nd creation of Dine'. We were never to make contact or see eachother.
@seantsosie - don't pass on false information. You cannot be a religious "Dine" as our elders told of our relatives in the south. We understand your dialect - being of the same people - we would be as "first cousins". I believe some "new agers" must have gotten to you or else someone with a big white ego got to you to spread this disinformation. We Dene/Dine are ONE people-beyond that Indian ppl spiritually pray for "all our relations". We don't say "religious". We say "medicine people".
Geromino will always be one of my favorite heros of all time. He was a kind man who was only protecting his land and his people. He did not deserve to be treated that way from the whites before he died. I'm going to visit his grave this summer in Lawton where I'm from. God bless my brave native men and their legacy they have left. They will never be forgotten. Pround to be a comanche and Kiowa native from Oklahoma.!!!!
Thanks for sharing this video. Geramino had been a great leader and will always be one of my favorite heros of all time. I was very previlage to have shared the same blood as him and had been taught he was really a good man that was only protecting his land and people. Thanks for sharing this and these kind souls will never be forgotten.
Great song and job well done with the visual effects. Found this gem in my friend, purespirit9's favorites, am favin' this one! Tlazcamati for sharin' this vid Pete!
This video is really great. Puts your heart and soul into the song and gives added meaning to the words. I liked the music before, but with the visual element it is a beautiful expression of the meaning behind it.
The American Indian deserve to have eveything returned to them ASAPV WITHOUT DELAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
