Damn the government for forcing it. All it did was give the Unions the biggest favor they could, screw the investors and debtors royally, and then give itself the power to put directors on the board - which is almost gauranteed death. Government = absolutely and utter incompetence. Daimler's a model of perfection by comparison.
Not a dollar of your money is going to end up at NASCAR. And why would you object anyway? Obama's wasted trillions of dollars. Why are you whining about a small commitment by a private company to NASCAR?
Dodge spent over $30,000,000 in NASCAR in 2008. I don't want socialized healthcare and I don't want Obama supporting other countries' efforts to kill babies (abortion). NASCAR has zero automotive relevancy. They aren't helping the auto industry.

and also I look forward to great success from the FIat alliance. The parent company to Ferrari and Chrysler should have no problem making the finest cars money can buy...though; easier said than done. Everyone needs to remember this isnt the 1st time Chrysler has been in this situation and it may not be the last, but I'm confident they will prevail.
I'm very happy and hopeful about this bankruptcy filing. This should have happened a while ago. The Germans no longer own that 19.9% of Chrysler since they're not going to contribute to the success of America's finest brand anyways. Its their fault Chrysler is in this shape to begin with. I'm hopeful Chrysler will return within 2 monthes and take its place as #1.
To bad they didn't do this in December 2008 before the government got involved. The tax payers would have saved billions of dollars and the government wouldn't be dictating terms. Oh yeah and the UAW health care fund wouldn't be receiving 55% interest in the company. This whole thing is a joke.
