Why would you give these to people in africa thats just stupid, give them one of the most advanced robots we have, and if it breaks im sure they could fix it. And im fairly confident that carrying the water isn't the problem ?!?, its more the lack of housing, clean water, food, basic hygiene ect. Giving them this robot would be like giving a starving man a laptop that would allow him to type up his tax returns, pointless and a waste of time and money.
