To take them off the 166, you have to take the screws out of the under side till you can get to the suspension. The front wheels have a screw holding them on the spindle. The back wheels are easier. There is a metal axle holding them together that they are pressed onto. Hold one wheel and twist. One side will give up and they come apart. Then just squeeze them back together when you're ready. The tires just pop off the rims. The 166s are a little tougher to get off the rim than the 250GTOs.
