  • honestly fellow youtubers especially those of latin american descent.i really do hope that if latin america ever does unite into one pueblo it does it under a leftist ideology cause the rightist ones have failed and only caused violence, poverty, dictatorships, diversity, ignorance, stupidity,MISERY,usa manipulation/harassment,etc

    VIVA LATINO AMERICA

  • How many times did the CIA rape your sorry Ass

  • Hugo's Venezuela:

    1 hospital closings,

2 an increase in human rights abuses,

3 increased inflation and crime rates.

4 Inflation rate is 31 percent and food prices have risen by 60 percent since the start of 2008

5 In addition, Chavezs critics are blacklisted, unable to work in the public sector or access passports and national ID cards.

  • @napoleoninchina where can i get a look at that evidence.cause ive found other sources that say different. such as venezuelaanalysiscom and im a person who wants to view both sides of the story.

  • How come life in Venuzela is getting worse under Hugo Chavez? Why are there now food shortages and less respect for human rights such as freedom of press and habeas corpus?

How many more people does Hugo have to impoverish, imprison, or kill before Venezuela is a perfect socialist utopia?

  • This is all fascist propoganda for exploitation. How many more capitalists must starve and abort their children not to mention denited health care, povery, illiteracy, violence, prison and degenerate instability in capitalist countries with no future, whereas Chavez is protecting and providing for His peoples interests?

  • No its not you RETARDED GRINGO FUCKBRAIN.

  • World Revolution is the only solution for Marx peace, order, dignity, justice, humanity & equality to vastly improve conditions for future generations. The less than 1% ruling class Capitalist brutality has failed the masses by betraying us into widepread chaotic poverty striving in declining desperation just to make ends while the elite continues to benefit in their regressive, right wing status quo dogmas in most countries like here, Mexico and Singapore where socialist voices are crushed!

  • PATRIA O MUERTE!

  • Revolution the only solution!

    Red forever

  • GreeTINGS from Russia!!!!! All revolutioners!!! Hasta la victoria siempre!!

  • Nice video comrade :)

  • you maybe right... but i believe you're also wrong. In canada there's a publicly funded health care system, with most services provided by private entities. While the canadians calls it a public system it is not socialized medicine, and they are capitalist too. How can they achieve this withouth resorting to goverment control of everything???

  • holy crap are you living under a rock or something???? they kidnap innocent people, kill innocent civilians, deal with drug cartels and all in the freakin name of comunism.... go wikipedia and do a search about them, they are NOT the people's army, they are a bunch of communist bastards that wants to take over a GOOD goverment and screw it's people.

  • Great governments... Latin America is known for their great, STABLE governments. People are so satisfied with living in these countries, despite the corruption, despotism, poverty, etc. Whatever reprehensbile action some guerillas do it is nowhere near the crimes of their governments.

  • ok they are great, but the farc guerrillas are trying to DESTABILIZE a GREAT goverment... why would anyone allow that????

  • Look the fact is, this video isn't even about FARC, this doesn't even have anything to do with guerilla warfare! It's about Latin America gaining its independence from its superpower neighbor to the north.

  • yea well... farc IS comunism...their ideology is the same. and why havent you answered my question????

  • I haven't had time because I've been out buying t-shirts to support capitalism, dumbass.

I've answered your question, now I feel like you're just some kind of dog who's been sticking around after I've given you food. I already fed you, but you're still unsatisfied.

  • you havent answered my question yet moron... but i dont care, talking to you is like talking to a monkey.... no one cares what you say.

  • You asked a lot of questions which I answered. If you MUST have this answered, then go ahead and ask it! I've given you plenty of answers that should be enough.

You think I care what YOU have to say? I'm trying to satisfy your instant need for answers so you can go away. If no one cares what I have to say then why do I have subscribers?

  • look i'm gonna say it again, why isn't the best things of capitalism and the best things of socialism join together and form something that it can help everyone alike???? why is it that they try to overtake each other??? you know as well as i that very few benefit from this... go ahead and answer.

  • Why not? The capitalists don't want you to benefit from both, that's why they're against universal health care and other social systems that could treat the population, a health care system that wasn't controlled by a tiny elite that determines whether or not we get needed treatment or not.

  • clearly the moron who made this video does not know the situation of the leftist farc group in colombia.... how retard can you be to put a video and not doing any research....

  • When did I say I support FARC? I support Latin American independence from U.S. domination, when did I mention FARC?

  • look man they support communism... so that means YOU support them. do your research

  • ???

Look at my page, smart one.

If your logic was used by me against you I could say that the diamond business that has resulted in the innocent deaths of millions of Africans, I could say you support blood diamonds because you support capitalism.

  • wait... did i ever said i supported capitalism??? no... never... it's wrong... but is MUCH better than communism. Why are you strafing away from what's happening in Latin america????

  • So what do you support? National socialism? Capitalism is as today? Markets? Are you a primitivist who wants no economy.

I'm not trying to avoid your claims, I'm attacking them for what they are: strawman arguments.

  • well...why in the hell can we get the best of communism and the best of capitalism in one political package huh? why is it that the communist try to de-bunk capitalism and viceversa?????

  • So what does the FARC do that is so horrible?

  • Fuck all leftist gurrillah movements in Latin America!!!!!!

  • long live hugo!!

  • Yeah I agree! Hugo's Pizza is the best!! I like all the old school style arcade games they have there too.

  • latino americanos REVOLUTION!

  • oh fuck ya ! great vid, i was born in raised in US and i have now at 23 moved and become citizen in central america for the discuss and mistrust of the neo-conservative movement, and yes i am so pleased to see the chavez movement takening place, and i feel that i will soon be one with it ,so i may see u all around standing tall against the imperial yankees! pura vida!

  • "Abya Yala" means "land of life" or "flourishing land". I am an inhabitant of the Abya Yala.

  • Once again I thank comradeunity for this video. The ancient name of our continent before the conquest is "Abya Yala", denomination used by most originary people of the "indigenous nations".

  • Food shortage in Venezuela??????? only an ignorant could say that. There isn´t any food shortage here, in fact local anti patriotic food corporations are hiding some products like milk. It´s very funny because Chávez´s opositors claim that there is not milk, but you can find yoghurt everywhere, and milkshakes, milk for suckling babies, all kind of milk derivates, and guess what? some criminals have been taking our food and extracting it to Colombia.

  • God bless Chavez and god bless Venezuela! Fuck the Washington Consensus!

  • it's live!

  • Another stupid Imperialist Nazi fxck American..@!

  • I'm convinced that socialism is exlusively for the uninspired.

  • Does the people of Venezuela live in the slums or nice mansions? Do they have to go without milk, eggs, bread and cheese or does the shortage imposed by the former regime, affect them? The answer is NO thanks to a brilliant man named Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías!

  • The majority of Venezuelans live in poverty, whereas Mr. Chavez lives in a nice palace. The majority of Venezuelans go with out milk, bread and eggs(including the ever shrinking middle class) because of Mr. Chaves' pricing policies. So is it really that different?

  • No actually under Chavez illiteracy has shrunk, health-care has gotten more accesible,

gas prices are cheap, GPD in the private sector (yes, private) has increased and the stock exchange is high.

  • More accessible healthcare? Maybe, but not better healthcare by any means. In fact public hospital infrastructure in Venezuela is failing, partly due to the fact that he took Cuba's model. Maybe by 3rd world standards that's better, but it's still shit compared to developed nations.

  • Actually Venezuela has an ingenius Hospital system with a drop-in mini hospital in every neighborhood. And funny you took Cuba as an example because its one of the best healthcare systems in the world. But there is a certain terrorist blockade wich keeps it from reachign its best.

  • Chavez is an economic genius because he makes use of Libertarianism and Socialism at the same time. He helps the poor people, start their own businesses and gives them land for priavte purposes thus brilliantly mixing the economy and helping the poor at the same time. But for Venezuelas rich and the USA this isnt enough. They want EVERYTHING as we have come to realize through history.

  • Are the food shortages his policies have created really helping anyone? I suppose if you're in the bottom 20% Chavez is a great guy because he gives you everything for free. But Do you know where that comes from? It comes from everyone else, essentially stolen from the middle classes of Venezuela.

  • Stolen from the rich of Venezuela who will get along fine.

  • Stolen non-the-less. Remember that when it is taken away from you. For a government that can give you anything can take away everything.

  • Same problems as with corporations then. Besides it isnt as much "stolen" as it is plain normal economic Liberalism (classical liberalism not American liberalism.) Venezuelas borgeuoise should not have entered big business if they didnt want to sell their shit.

  • I'm sure they didn't think they'd be forced to.

Just like the family farmers who didn't think they'd have to sell their product at a loss because bigboy Chavez says so. Of course the only reason he's doing that is to buy votes from the uneducated poor of Venezuela.

  • They get compensated at amrket value + the majority of land used so far have been state owned.

  • Oh, is that how you interpret 'expropriated' in South America?

Anyway looks like you have bigger problems to worry about now. Thanks to Chavez of course:)

  • Well nobodys interpreting as expropiation but you.

  • Uh...Chavez used that exact word when refering to private farmers and their pricing and exporting practices. Don't you pay attention to 'Alo Presedente' when you're watching it? It's his own hour long propaganda bull session to his bootlickers.

  • Do you know Spanish or did you watch a subbed version? Even so im really crying crocodile tears over the 5 % who owned all of Venezuelas fertile lands and know have to give up a tiny peice of it for a compensation that is probably more than any of Venezuelas lower class citizens got under their reign.

  • Good thing Correa and Chavez backed off their war rhetoric. I wouldn't want to see Venezuelans go even hungerier in addition to fighting a usless war with thier neighbors.

  • Yeah im happy about that too. Clearly showed that Chavez the bigger man.

  • More like the bigger mouthed chump. He and Correa got pwnd hard. Now we know without a doubt who is backing FARC. Chavez backed down because he realized just how unpopular a war with his neighbors would be. Not to mention that his army is out numbered and out classed. He's falling fast and hard.

  • Yeah right, the Colombian army managed to find a computer in a bombed-out, burned down builiding that magically had stayed intact provign that Chavez supports the FARCEP. There are more plausible evidence that Uribe supported the AUC but nobody seems to mention that.

  • It makes sense doesn't it? Chavez despises Uribe,FARC despises the Colombian government. Both are radical leftist. Chavez is an advocate of FARC and has met with the upper echelons of that group. Doesn't seem far fetched to me, but then again I wouln't lick Chavez's boot clean.

  • Even if it hadent been proved to be untrue wich it have been now it wouldnt make sense. America and its lapdogs always seems to find all these intact laptops in villages and civilization theyve destoryed "proving" that

someone uncomfortable is supporting something uncomfotable. Even if Chavez was supporting FARCEP i would say good for him.

  • Do you know how much damage and misery FARC has caused the people of Colombia?

And you applaud Chavez for continuing their violence and intimidation?

Why? Because they claim to be Marxist socialists?

  • Well as establishe before, Chaves has never supported FARC economically, in fact he has made them realese hostages. I support their struggle to free their country from the paramilitaries and the Uribe regime.

  • Yo hablo pico espanole. No gusta. What's wrong with the state approved english subtitled version? Hey, why are their food shortages in Venezuela again? Didn't they used to be a food exporter, just like socialist Zimbabwe? Yes, yes they did.hmmm, I bet the folks that kissed Chavez's feet in the barrios feel real stupid now.

  • Only, if you viewed Alo Presidente outside of Venezuela it had most certainly been translated by someone with an anti Chavez bias. What food shortages? Your always returnign to soem imagined food shortages. Even so there is no famine in Venenzuela.

  • Oh, come on. You know that is BS. You can't be THAT brainwashed, can you? Sorry, the translations are correct,Chavez says what he means. And there is a food shortage in Venezuela, it's not imaginary. But keep that head firmly in the sand because things are going to be really really bad in that country, very soon.

  • I wouldnt put anythign past the corporate media. Watch "The revolution will not be televised" to see how Chavez was made out to be a demon from the comfort of Venezuelas private TV stations.

The food shortages arent worse than on any other place. As i said before there is no famine in Venezuela.

  • Any other place? Well there are no food shortages here in America. But there are food shortages in socialist Zimbabwe. So are you saying that the food shortages in Venezuela are as bad as Zimbabwe? If it wasn't for oil Venezuela would probably have their same level of inflation, too:)

  • The rate of child poverty in America was as of 2006 the highest in the world. What good si food on the shelves if you havent got the money? No i am sayign exactly the opposite because there is no documented widespread famine in Venezuela.

  • lol.Yeah right.Keep on shovling that tripe down.American poverty (which is 2-3%) looks a lot different than the rest of the worlds poverty. No one here starves that doesn't want too. And I'm not interested in debating facts with you.

Venezuela used to be a food exporter, they now must import food and they can't keep up with demand. These are facts.

  • Actually its more like 21,9. Same as in Venezuela then. Well thats too bad since in an argument you are supposed to use facts. I know i do.

  • You do? I'm still waiting on your facts.

No American poverty is not only lower than Venezuela (it's a joke to even compare us) but our poorest citizens are still better off than you poorest. I think I'd have a better idea of that since I do live in the U.S.

  • Theyre in my comments. Yes but just two years ago it was the highest in the developed world. Venezuelas standard is still higher than any previous Venezuelan administration and Colombia.

  • I see claims, not facts. Facts are usually followed with supported, varifiable information

  • See the UN and the World Bank for statistics.

  • Lol, Well I suppose compared to a country like

Norway we do have a rather high child poverty rate. We also have a substantially larger and more diverse population.< 50% of the median income here is anything under $50,000 per year.

  • So you confess? The Scandinavian welfare system is the most effective in the world.

  • Look up "poverty" in wikipedia and check out the nifty map on global population undernourishment. The U.S. has less than 2 1/2 percent per population. Venezuela has between a 5 and 19% undernourished population. You tell me which country does a better job of feeding it's people.

  • Thats a difference of about three percent. Always when someone is starving in the United States it is because thevye made "bad desicions". When someone starves in Venezuela its Chaves fault. You have to take into consideration thigns like debt and the economic mess left by the previous Venezuelan regime. Most of those other maps either had no data over the USA or where based on the CIA world factbook, not the most trustworthy of sources.

  • No one starves in the U.S. unless by choice. That's my point. We don't have malnourished children here.

lol, classic CIA tag. If it doesn't fit in with you personal socialist views it must be that pesky CIA...sorry CIA-tard but no one in the company manufactured these facts, they come from unicef, the same source YOU cited.

  • So how come they allegedly do in Venezuela?

Thats what i said. But the other maps where CIA manufactured and where most certainly fake.

  • It's not alleged, your own sources even state that Venezeula is more impoverished than the U.S. due to the food shortages there. We still export food, you do not. CIA manufactured? Gimme a break. Prove it. Better yet prove that the data contained there is false. I dare you.

  • Venezuela still exports food only in more limited quantities. Consumption is way up in Venezuelas poorest circles according to independent polls.

Well for instance the UN has no information on how many in the US who lives under one dollar a day but according to the CIA only 10-20% lives under the national poverty line.

  • "Venezuela still exports food only in more limited quantities"

    Exactly.

No one in the U.S. lives on $1 dollar a day. We're not some 3rd world country like Venezuela. Our poorest citizen is still far better off than your poorest.

  • Wich is a realistic move. Inflation can hurt the seller.

The map didnt say that nobody in America lived udner 1 dollar a day. It said that they didnt know how many that lived under one dollar a day.

  • Actually the US is grayed out on that map, along with most of Europe since it is generally presumed that no in those countries lives on less than a dollar a day. Considering their gross GDP I'd say it's a fair estimate that the number is less than 1%.

For Godsake Mexico has a higher standard of living than you guys, from '99-'05. Honestly what does this tell you?

  • No its not a fair estiamte. If Mexico ahs a higher standard of living why is everyone fleeing it then?

  • Because they aren't being shot at when they leave.

  • Uh, gee whiz, never thought of that before.

Why woudl somebody flee a country for the simple fact that they will not get shot at?

Furthermore that claim is false, check out the Minutemen.

  • The minute men don't shoot at illegal immigrants, that is a blatant unfounded lie. They report illegal immigrants to the authorities who then intervene. The minute men only carry guns because drug smugglers and 'coyotes' have been known to shoot at them.

  • At least thats what they claim.

  • If you have phsycal evidense to the contrary you should give it to the media and authorities.Otherwise STFU because it's not nice to lie.

  • In 2005 there was a shooting in an border area, the Minutemen used to patrol that was most likely their work.

  • lol? Are you serious? That is your smoking gun? There are are just too many flaws in that claim. More likely any shootings on the border are the result of the Mexican military shooting at U.S. border agents that are trying to stop smugglers.

  • Those who died where Mexicans, not border agents. Why would the Mexican military shoot Mexicans?

  • Why would border agents shoot unarmed Mexicans, when they can just as easily arrest and deport?

  • The minutemen arent border agents, their vigilantes.

  • Anyway without a source to reference your accusation holds no weight. Itis fiction, it never happened.

  • Jim Chase, the head of the California Minutemen admitted it happened.

  • The only case I could find was a vague reference to a rogue vilgilante patrol not affiliated with Minutemen. As Mr. Chase stated. Of course tit-for-tat would be coyotes and drug runners aided by Zetas shooting at border patrol agents. I'm more concerned about that as it happened frequently.

  • More proof of how unstable a project like the minutemen is then.

  • Mexico has a higher standard of living when compared with Venezuela. Mexicans aren't immigrating south but rather north to the U.S. because, like I've stated before, they know the poorest person here is still better off than the poorest person in Venezuela. Are you getting any of this?

  • NAFTA subsidiaries has pressed down the salaries for Mexican farmers and made their corn worthless. Its not even just the poorest who flees but also the middle class.

  • ah, No. Those who flee Mexico are the unemployed, and corn prices world wide are on the rise. In fact tortillas have jumped in price because the value of corn is so high So corn is actually not worthless as you claim.

  • Yes, MADE unemployed by the corporations. Of course the price remains intact when corporate power usurps the position Mexican farmers once held. Im seriously doubting your intelligence now.

  • Cool, well I've always doubted yours. I've got news for you bub, the mean nasty old corporations employ these people when they come to America, nobody put a gun to their head and forced them to come here illegally. You should blame the corrupt Mexican government if you want to blame anything at all.

  • To work as ghosts, with no rights, no money no anything? Surprise, THATS THEIR PLAN!

I blame the governments and the borgousie class of both Mexico, USA and Canada.

  • It's a choice they made when they entered this country illegally. Why should they deserve anything? Nobody gave my ancestors anything when they came here...legally I might add. You're not much of a worker, more like a professional complainer.

  • Well as previously stated if it wasnt for NAFTA they wouldnt need to be there. I know its comfortable to think that one day, a thousand Mexicans decided to bum-rush the border for the hell of it and it has been going on ever since. But eveything happens for a reason. The Zapata army could have saved Paranoid North American whiners a lot of trouble. But Clinton decided to back the Mexican government and army against the peoples will.

  • If it wasn't for NAFTA Mexico's manufacturing industry would resemble that of say,Kenya or Nigeria. I agree NAFTA is bad, but only for the U.S. since we are the ones that were brought down a few pegs by it.

  • Even Clintons old propaganda ministers admitted that wages are barely 15% higher than they were in pre NAFTA days, productivity has stalled not to mention that class divisions has increased with an almost gargantuan spread.

  • 15% higher in Mexico? Boo-hoo, their about .4% higher here in the states, yeah NAFTA is really bad for Mexico isn't it. Fuck that noise, the U.S. got the shaft on NAFTA. We just need to cut Mexico out of the equation.

  • But now were talking about Mexican wages, not American. And yes compared with wages in the 80's and the first four years of the 90's wages should have risen if NAFTA was so amazing.

  • Comparatve Mexican wages have increased do to NAFTA, so has employment. If you take jobs from America and give them to people that previously didn't have jobs you will see a fall in unemployment. I'm not sure what they teach you in school in Finland but it definately is not North American economics.

  • Tell that to J. Bradford DeLong one of the brains behind NAFTA who says that the current state in Mexico is one of complete backwardsness.

Of course. The problem with that is that those jobs are available first after hoisting oneself up on barbed wire, getting hypothermia in the Rio Grande, stabbed to death by Scorpions in the desert and/or arressted. And if the finally reach their destiantion theres always gonna be people like you there, whining.

No thank god for that. PS im Swedish.

  • Oh that explains why you don't know anything about NAFTA. Unlike you I don't whine, I'm part of the solution not the problem. What are you doing to repeal NAFTA? Oh that's right, nothing. So STFU kid, you're way over your head. You have to actually know about something before you can criticize it.

  • The solution? Whats that, going over the border, steal all the wetbacks shit, go back again and then shoot anyone who comes to retrieve it?

So are you for NAFTA or against it? You remind me of the Objectivists and Ayn Randians who scoff at Conservatives only to rehash every Conservative talking point/gimmick to the point of growing a pair of bucktheeth.

  • Uh.. i currently hold two jobs, but i have no idea what that has to do with the discussion.

  • Good for you. Just keep at it and you'll get that brass ring:)

  • Dont worry, the revolution will come before that.

  • lol.Which one?

  • Comrade, I am moved, my eyes came to tears watching the video. Thanks a lot. Bolivarian and revolutionary greetings from Venezuela.

  • I am not only glad but very touched to hear from a Venezuelan such as yourself that this video captured you in the way that it did. As a supporter of the Latin-American independence movement I obviously support the Bolivarian movement and its goals. The revolution is not dead, amigo, in fact it is gaining support everyday.

  • Hasta la victoria sempre !!

Very good video Comrade, keep up the fight !!!

  • Through thick and thin, brother!
