Wow - what a fantastic voice he had. I remember reading that he felt more of a pull towards his music, folk genre stuff, but I hadn't realized what a strong voice he had. Very smooth, slightly raspy but "honeyed". It's such a shame he's gone. River was a rare and extraordinary talent. His work is unforgettable.
