Barrel itself is almost absolutely useless here.Most of the gases escape between magazine and barrel,and BBs should be closer to gunpowder in order to absorb more energy from explosion itself.

On the other hand,real revolvers have same "problem" although its not such a problem for them.

@theweentles Yes and No. The whole gun won't malfunction, but usually cheap plastic revolver cap guns tend to not cycle the cylinder accurately which makes the whole cycle of firing unreliable Because the chambers don't line up with the barrel straight enough after every trigger pull. What I do is pull the hammer back and let go, then rotate the cylinder manually, this is more reliable because you can line up the little chambers up with the barrel and the hammer strikes the caps harder.

Here is a little story, so I was trying to make a bb gun and i was almost finished with it (btw i was making KipKays') , and i got a metal tube for better accuracy and i used a meat thermometer to get a little piece of metal out of the tube and the meat thermometer went through my pinkey and through my ring finger, I didn't cry cause I was in such shock lolz!
