@MrSupermanLFM, unless there were extremely local wind directions so called Chinese lanterns will go the same direction and will keep the formation for very long. Release some yourself during a calm evening and you'll see. Also, three moving points will obviously appear to "keep shape" much better than four or more moving points. But then again, if the wind is moving the same direction without turbulence, little change to the shape will occur.
I just wonder why nobody uses an infra red camera to capture the image of the mysterious lights. An infra red camera will definitely show if it's a solid object with lights on it or just plain lights or flares.
You guys have to catch a glimpse of this stuff. Fresh leaked legal documents Proving government studying into ufos! Just head to ufosecretXnet (replace X with . ) , these people have got them all archived on there!
My girlfriend and her family noticed a ball of red light in the sky identical to the light seen at 4:03 (in video) on Nov. 8, 2008 in Collinsville, Illinois (about 10 minutes east of St.Louis). Anyone else see this?
I have a perfect idea: invent a ufo camera, one that would have all the features and specifications to film and photo ufos. No more murky video or fuzzy pics, or what have you, the ufo camera is here. For ET afacianAdos only.
Midus320, if any one on this thread is worthy of the acme-duncecap award for 2009, it is indisputably you. For you to respond to me as angrily you did-indeed, for an 8 month old innocent comment-shows that you have a supreme talent for stupidity and that you are in desperate need of a brutal beating.
actually midus, he's right on. if we can spin particles around in a hadron collider to re-create the big bang, and put a man on the moon, we can create a special camera to to observe the night sky in a way that was more conducive to this sort of thing. electromagnetic sensetivity etc. I imagine once we have a more physical understanding of these crafts, we'll be able to design our 'detection technology' accordingly

Lights in the Sky are just that. PPL buy into the whole Alien BS too much. No Proof of anything but lights that are most likely stars or flares

There is only one way of catching a ufo. Fish em out of the sky.
set up thermal cameras, night vision cameras and radar all over the place in hot spots including top secret military sites.

A possible clue: why did one of the closest USAF bases have so high a turnover rate that, within that time-frame, no one could comment?
