I hate catching flathead in a kyak cause of it's spike, But lucky for me I have a box so I just need to catch it's gills very quickly.

@tigerjet13 - It depends on the conditions. On a calm day you won't get wet at all. On a choppy day you'll get wet and be sitting in water under the seat. I haven't been wet in the Pro Angler yet. It's a different seat which has your backside away from any water.

@lbeesone - Yes, you can put it in at Sandridge beach at Port Melbourne and fish around the old pier. Fished there a couple of times for some good pinkies.
