Why did Randy Rhoads have to die. I wish i could go back and talk Randy and everyone else who went on that flight not to go. I never got to see Randy play live cause im only 15 years old but i know it would have been the greatest experience ever. Even though i never saw him live he is still my hero and he will be forever.

@dogkiller07 What happened was that the bus driver had a suspended flight license, Randy was afraid of heights but he got on because he was also a photographer and he wanted some shots of the sky. I don't know how long into the flight, but things started to go bad. One of the wings basically tore up the tour bus and almost killed everyone on the bus and then crashed killing everyone on the plane. Randy's body was burned to where you couldn't recognize him. The bus driver also had a lot of coke.

Here is an interesting side note: the bus driver (Andrew Aycock) was orginally supposed to be the bus driver for Rainbow. However, Richie said that he (Aycock) had a 'black aura' around him, so they fired him. A few weeks later the plane crashed happened and Randy was gone. Several people namely Jake Duncan, Don Airey (who has pictures second before the crash) won't talk about the crash and probably never will. Supposedly there was a fight in the cockpit before the crash.

Randy thought it would be funny to come down and tap tired of the plane on top of the bus and scary ozzy while he slept. (rudy was ozzy's bass player). rudy puts a whole new shocking twist on the plane crash. he says the keyboardist was on the ground taking photos with a zoom lens and witnessed a struggle on board the plane just before the plane hit the bus. the pilot was aiming the plane right at his ex wife who was standing in bus doorway. randy may have saved the lives of ozzy and the band. the wing clipped the bus rather than direct impact. discuss
