  • Great stuff thanks!!!

  • this video is most popular with ages 45-65 lol

  • Man toys nowadays suck compared to these.

  • Their not just toys, their career choices. You could grow up to be a airline pilot a military man or a car wash technician.

  • The Whirlybirds commercial was definitely pre-Vietnam toy-advertising. "SEE things blow up! Create craters and carnage! Dump some napalm!"

  • Did the douche bags at tvdays.com have to take up the entire right lower corner of the screen with their brand?

  • I wanted one of those Kelly's Car Washes for X-mas 1963 (I was 6). I didn't get it , though. My grandfather gave me a different one. He said the Kelly's ones were sold out. I would've loved one of those helicopters when I was 10. I played with toy soldiers all the time.

  • Don't you find it amusing that the remco airplane never left the ground; neither did the helicopter. They sat on your rug and went nowhere. And all for only 14.95 or 9.98.Quite expensive for its day.

  • Hey what about a remco earl shieb where they practice ripping people off for sucky paint jobs just like the real thing !

  • @DaDa2Phlux We paint any car any color!! In by 9 out by 5!! Only $99.95!!!

  • @clintonearlwalker HaHaHaH - I'll trust my beginning stages Parkinson's & DupliColor to match their best !

  • LOL i have a remco video on my channel :3 you kno, the creepy laughing one...ehh :|

  • Why don't they make these no more D:

Better than shitty toys these days.

  • Man toys were sad before video games.

  • I like how they dismissed girls at the end ... " REMEMBER EVERY BOY WANTS A REMCO!!!.....and so do girls" sexist

  • REMCO was da shiznit

  • haha my name is remco so a plane is named after me

  • I was an 80s kid (Transformers, Voltron, Atari, Nintendo, Sega). But I love watching these toy commercials from before my time. They had such great care and production value to them.

  • jetprop thier real modern name is turboprop and the airliner lookslike a lockheed electra turboprop

  • the first one is not too much but i want that helicopter now!

  • It says "jet prop" engines, but should be prop jet: in other words, turboprop. The two dorks with the airliner look like rejects from "McKeever and The Colonel"

  • I love how they used to advertise the prices of the toys so retailers couldn't jack them up sky high like they do now. Everyone had to sell for the same price and make the same profit.

  • Thanks for the trip down memory lane of the toys i wanted but i never got especially mr kelly's carwash:(:(:(:(:( HAHAHAHAHAHA But seriously good post. You put a smile on my face:):):):)

  • I had the helicopter and it was really fun, and yes you did have to use your imagination in those days. As it moved it made a "clack clack" sound just like the real thing.

"Made in China"? Not in those days. They couldn't have given them away if they had been.

  • See, back then kids could use their imagination. Nowadays it's a "Gay flight simulator".

  • You have to understand that for the 1950's

    those toy were very popular.

  • (and so do girls) (afterthought)

  • Jet engines???

  • Yep, turbo prop=jet engine. What a lame early flight sim.

  • @mginsel it was 1959 not 2010! THEY DIDNT HAVE X-PLANE OR MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR! THAT WAS HIGH TECH FOR 59'

  • Those are five of the goofiest looking kids I have ever seen! The two with the little airplane thing cinch it though! They looked so serious with that silly little thing! LOL!

  • that's sooooooo dumb toys ever!

  • LOL, I think thats were they got "not a flying toy" slogan for Toy Story.
