Personally I think it's a bit selfish, I mean, she could've gone with Lucas to pick up Jamie & Lydia, CMM was only in like 2 scenes anyway.. Also, it's not like she hasn't been doing other acting jobs, she's in White Collar atm. It would've meant a huge deal to a lot of the fans if she'd returned, so yeah, in my OPINION, it's a bit selfish.

And you call her selfish for being a mother? Hilarie isn't even in the show anymore and hasn't been for years, she has MOVED ON. OTH fans should too. They have to realize that the actors have other lives, they are not their characters. My thing is, how dare you call a mother selfish for wanted to be with her child.

The reason is because all of them knew Whitey, so that then they could all come back for the funeral, and then the dead people like Keith (because they loved bringing Keiths spirit into OTH) They could take Whitey on into the Spirit world or whatever, That means Everyone could come back for the last episode including those who have died :D

It breaks my heart to see this show end, I mean, my childhood ends with this show too. But I'm glad to have learned so much in the past 9 years I've watched this. Seeing Lucas in the final season, and watching how everybody else's businesses work out well, that's happy ending for me. Tree Hill is home. <3
