I live by the beautiful but on a budget philosphy! Just saw your video- (I've recently purchased a Salicylic acid peel kit) It's a very encoutage vid, your results after a month are lovely! You skin is really smooth and lovely in tone too! Thanks for posting!
@MakeupOnABudget Thanks love on my way out the door to pick up some ....I have realy sensitive skin and every sunscreen I've tried made my skin break out something nasty.......
hi jenny! thank u for posting this video. just watched it and loved the results!!! your skin really made a great turn around. i am considering on trying lactic acid. noticed in your comments u said u no longer use the lactic acid, is there a reason in particular? were the results permanent?
@shulooloo Hi! I stopped using it because I was satisfied with the results. I may start using it again but maybe for a month instead of 3 months. I have gotten some small scarring here and there but only recently and I want to get rid of it. So from a year of not using the peel to getting blemishes here and there its nothing that vitamin e couldn't handle. But now I want to fade the scarring and start fresh so to speak lol.
@MakeupOnABudget thank you for responding. i was concerned maybe it did some damage or stopped working after awhile . but it's good to know the results were gratifying. i've been using the 30 % glycolic acid by muac and it's amazing! i will try the lactic acid as per your video. thank u.
Hello Jenny I'm a fairly new subscriber, i heard that you can use Witch Hazel instead of the Ph prep, and Aloe Vera Gel instead of the Aloe Jelly...is this true?
@sexytannedbitch No, this peel isn't one of those actual "peeling" peels. The TCA peel is a peeling peel. I never peeled, I just saw a decrease in the severity of the scarring. :)
i saw a difference in your cheeks!!! : D so wait is that the result of just doing the 40 percent lactic peel only? Im thinking of buying the 40 percent and then buying there retinol 10percent to help aid in getting rid of my scaring and minimize my pores im so excited
I meant to add: The use of Vaseline is to prep sensitive areas to provide a barrier for your skin, but you should not leave it on after the peel is rinsed off, as it can clog pores.
You're getting really good results with this peel. Keep it up; you're looking great!
Lactic acid peels are very mild & it is a safe way to improve your skin. It's going to take many months reduce acne scarring as you have found out, but it's well worth the effort.
I love that you pointed out to use sunscreen. Also, be sure not to use Retin-A, Accutane, hot water, or anything else that causes more irritation.
If there's any burning at a spot (for me it's the creases of my nose), use Vaseline.
Thanks! I no longer use the peel since my acne has subsided along with the scarring. My skin care regimen has completely changed since I've used the peels. Less is more for my skin and it works like a charm!
Lactic acid sells for about $2-3/oz from most chemist warehouses and other dealers.. the pH prep isn't really necessary if it's going to cost close to $20..
Your video & progress are fantastic...How often were you using the lactic acid peel to acheive the final results that you had in August? Also, what percentage were you using? Thanks in advance!
Thanks! The dates that I stated in the videos were the times I used it. I started out doing it twice a week than went down to once. I no longer use the peels, they're just collecting dust now. The percentages were 40% and 65%.
Why did you stop the peels? I just ordered a TCA peel (12.5) and a 55 lactid acid peel. I applied the TCA tonight with round two in two weeks. I will use the lactid acid as my weekly peel after I complete the TCA process.
I have watched some videos and most people appear pleased with the results. Does this dry out your skin too much?
Are you still using the lactic acid peel on your face now and has your scars completely gone away? How much are you selling yours for? I need to get me some of that
I'm no longer using the lactic acid peel. My scars have not completely gone away but considering how my scars were in the beginning in the pix to now it's a very big improvement. I'm selling mine for $50 including shipping. 2 used lactic acid peel samples (40% and 65%) 1 used bottle of the ph treatment, 2 unused sponges and the instructions.
Yea, I'm happy that you saw results! I use both lactic and salicylic peels (from a different online company), and alternate them. I find that the salicylic is more effective at treating my acne, and the lactic is more effective at treating the scars. I just have a hard time remembering to do them!
Wow....what an improvement....good job!

I stopped them because I didn't want to become dependent on the peel. Also I didn't think I needed to use it anymore because my scarring subsided.
MakeupOnABudget 2 years ago
I didn't notice my skin being dried out like with I've noticed when people use TCA peels.
