I reviewed this one last fall. Mine was from 2010 with a 9.5%ABV. Being in New Hampshire I see Smuttynose beers all the time.

its nice seeing your dad in a beer review. my dad doesn't have anywhere close to similar tastes as I do with beer or whiskey. great video! love seeing collaborations, especially family members. awesome!

@kamikazeace00 Honestly my dad is just starting to get into craft beers so this was really one of his first legit craft beers. I had a dopplebock I brewed that he really liked so I figured we would give this one a shot and he really liked it.

This years smutty was actually a higher abv wasn't it from previous years.

@djmx121 Yeah the only beer in this series that didnt really do to much for me was the Quad. Really just one dimensional but all the other beers have been fantastic

Smuttynose is one of my top 10 if not top 5 breweries, they produce consistently stellar beers.

We don't get Smutty out here. In fact our east selection is pretty much Sam Adams, Dogfish Head, Victory, Ommegang, Allagash, Shipyard, and Flying Dog. I think that's about it.

Funny, I saw this beer at my beer store yesterday and was wondering if it was worth the buy or not. I wake up this morning and you've got another great review out! Definitely going to have to pick it up next time I go.
