wrong only one is. The other has a VZ alloy Motor which is fully aussie and not an imported gm motor. It was created and designed in Australia by our own uni students and done as a gradute design plan that holden funded.
no they built it from the ground up!! Do the research it is out there for the public to see. You can even visit UNISA and they will show you the information about the 4 23-30 year olds who built it on a pc then as a model. After which it was made into a motor via goverment founding...it is the first ever fully aussie built motor ever!!
If they were developed here, then why the connection with GM? Why not call it just "Holden"? And why do they look American? I bet they based the engine design heavily on an American GM model.
As far as I'm concerned, GM and Ford can get out of Australia. They've overstayed their welcome. As for funding, our government ought to know better!!
wheelspin before the "green light" means less traction at the "go", so you should work out where your torque converter locks up and sit at that rpm until the go, then manage wheelspin after that
Two American cars? Go America!!!!

I know because I bought the upgraded motor and researched it.

There's a difference between developing something from the ground up, and altering the design of an existing (import), isn't there?
What did they do? Paint a few red stripes on it then call it Aussie?
