@hunterpeterson81095 I hated the books for two reasons. First, for the crap writing. Pages upon pages of pointless drive.The author can't write. Second, for the way her books opened the door to any hack writer with a plot outline that involved vampires or werewolves. The supernatural genre has become saturated with garbage. I am open to interpretation as to what a vampire is. I've read some interesting books that don't follow the rules, but yes, vampires should never sparkle.

The TV show is a continuance of of the movie, though the events of the movie are barely referenced in the TV show. The movie was called "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (of course) and it starred Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Luke Perry, and Pee wee Herman, who actually made a pretty good vamp. Both movie and TV show are good. The TV show rocks in comparison.

Series 1 is good but series 2 1nd 3 were amazing and I watched them with a passion. Series 4 wasn't so good (but that's just cos I don't like Riley) but series 5 and 7 were also brilliant. My favorite was definitely series 6 though because I am in love with Tara, Anya, Xander and Willow. But I love Buffy and I love Angel.

P.S If you haven't already watch Firefly and Dollhouse by Joss Whedon they're both also incredible, especially Firefly.
