I can tell you from recording experience that they used Melodyne or Antares to process those vocals. Great song, but that track is heavily edited. Additionally, the dynamic contrast in part was him, but he definitely had the aid of a good volume adjustment too.

I read some of the comments and there was like 2 people who said this was auto tuned. It's obviously not auto tuned. They edited it so little that before each line you can hear Josh breath. However, if you investigate any samples of the editing software Melodyne, you will hear the similarity between the artificiality of Josh's voice and those in the samples. I have heard them perform this piece live without the use of such software and it sounds one hundred times better. I was just stating that I was disappointed that they thought it necessary to tarnish the natural quality of their voices to simply make this track "perfect."
