I've loved Tramaine Hawkins and her anointed voice the very 1st time I heard her sing. She is definitely one of my favorite Gospel Singers. I just praise God for her life and the powerful anointing she carries as she ministers in song. Thank you for the video.
since Pres. Obama is so outraged over "faux" homophobia in [the] Black community & Black churches, why does he so ardently seek and assume their electoral support on every opportunity ? Since it outrages him so, perhaps in order to allow him to maintain his character & integrity, the "Black Community" should offer it's anti-war, homophobic support to a more reasonable and balanced candidate come 2012- just a very short time from now ! Is there any other group he snubs more than Blacks ??
I agree silkey2007. Tramaine is without a doubt the best female gospel singer!!!!!! Tramaine Hawkins has always been my favorite female gospel singer. No one even comes close to her.
You know what, you can close your eyes and put on one her her recordings from the 70's and then one from today, and you can hardly tell which is which. Her voice is magnificient and this performance (or should I say ministering session) was flawless! What an anointed, gracious and beautiful woman of God. An example to anyone who wants to make it!
society said whitney houston was making a comebackm but i've heard herm and after 7 years off her voice is not the same, but after 40 years tremaine voice is still great
You got to take care of the temple of God and he'll sustain the voice, whatever gift, talent he's given. I know it was rough for Whitney. That's why the range is gone. Bless God for her comeback, though!!!
Thirty years ago while living in the Pacific Northwest, I had that great pleasure, no blessing, to hear Tramaine Hawkins as a young woman. Then like now, she was richly blessed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. May God's name be glorified through Tramaine's ministry of song.

That woman's voice has held up like none other. Who else you know can still sing the notes they used to be able to sing, 40 years ago?
