I am an american in Holland and I watched this on TV and my heart nearly stopped ,,, it was so sad to see some of them die,, What Happened to the farmer who had the land the horses were on ??? I know 11 horses perished ... were the owners reimbursed for their loss ???

I like this vid better than the one with the Vangelis music on. This is more upbeat, and less tearjerking. Especially like the attention on the last horse, who I believe died on the beach. This is a wonderful acheivement, thanks for taping it.

The first time I saw this video it was to music by Vangelis and so moving!! Is there any way to change the music? I am using this video with our leadership group--how the horses were within safety, but, for lack of a leader(s), they still might have died.

Susan, I agree that this music is horrible - what was this guy thinking! - but I have the version with the Vangelis music as well as the 17 minute version with no music, just actual sounds.

I did finally find the vid with the Vangelis music and was able to show it to my teenage leadership group. They loved it!! So many "leadership" concepts to teach. Thanks!

The video was great, but the music was horrible! It certainly didn't match the amazing rescue story.

Great Video. It warmed my heart to see set. TIt was neat that this video took the extra time to show how they brought that one horse in at the end. Obviously there was a problem. Older, Ill, Injured... Great video. I'll be watching it many more times.
