  • how would i get many of this songs coz am running an ophanage and i need to share with my lovely kids

  • Thanks for sharing this video. Thanks also to peaceiwacu05 for posting what the song was about. I thought that the song was about something like that from the scenes, but it was still good to read that what I thought was true. In addition to the singing and dancing, I liked the scenes of the children playing games. I wish they were longer. Do I understand correctly from the comments that these children are from Burundi but living in Kenya? Thanks!

    -an African American sister

  • these kids live in burundi too !

  • this is soo cutee ! xoxo

  • nelly lloveyou

  • wow i think that was really such a nice song, and the kids are creative.

  • yes for the people of kenya to understand burundi language or rwanda & you know that they jst moved into those places (nomadc)from somalia, kenya, ethiopia, thats whay the language conects even the body strucure & dna

  • thts not true, our languag is from somewhere in the south.

  • ok, but the dance and the ladys are so beautful,am from uganda living in the us i was imprest i love every thing i see iwish these groups can travel ho (the girls are wonderful)

  • that's a ugandian boy.

  • no thats a burundian boy i kno the kid !!

  • NO makasipa2 who is talkin about the girls.

  • that was nice when like i listen to the song.

  • te troop cute wamwana

  • This is ridiculous! It goes beyond bullying, it actual reflect the general behaviour of men in burundi, domestic violence stems from the fact that a boy can hit a girl and can actually get away with it. Wouldn't it have been nice to see the boy getting some kind of reprimend, to show that it is not ok to hit another child? Yes being comforted after such a horific attack is good, BUT where is justice? What are we actually teaching kids who are going to view this?

  • i think a child(boy) hitting another child(girl) is an act of violence. its just a way of showing her that he likes her. I understand your concern but should it be address to men and country leaders instead of innocent children. children will always be children but it's the adults that give them wisdom, courage and teaching how to behave and be productive members of the society.

  • oh they are so sweet.nice

  • ntaco kabaye akokaririmbo

    ariko gakundwa cane nabana

  • proud to get born in Africa and proud to be a Citizin of the world

  • kids here in The Bahamas love this song.

  • Where is Bahamas and what kind of people live there?

  • Bahamas is in the carribean near USA, florida, miami.

  • Thank you for your answer, nabonwe!!I am a little bit curious. Are you from Bahamas Or you are a burundian living there?

You mean kids loving this song are bahamas citizens or they are just burundian immigrants kids living there? Olivnt.

  • Actually I am a Kenyan living in the Bahamas, but burundi sounds exactly like luyha community from kenya. They are bahamian kids, even though they dont understand the language they like this song and they enjoy watching them dance, african way, you know what I mean.

  • That is so nice to hear. actually I am from Burundi too and live in Norway. very nice to hear that our culture can reach that far. Do people know it is from Burundi? is it played on national TV or national radio? is there some other cultural songs from east africa popular there? can you give me a link on any luyha song or speech on youtube or elsewhere just to hear the way the language sounds myself? Thank you in advance. olivnt.

  • This song mostly is played on national tv, in one of childrens program, then they started playing it on national radio. They only say it comes from East Africa they dont specify a particular country. But some thinks it comes form Tz.Anyway there are so many luhya songs here on you tube, search mukangala, or mwikulu those are luhya songs.

  • Hamwe abarundi twokwijukira kuvyina indirimbo kavukire hamwe no kuziraba ndavyemezaneza yuko vyoduteza imbere nka bandi . impanuro nayo notanga abarundi turagaba ntitwishinge indirimbo zabakavamahanga kukubera zizoduteza inyuma ntizizokwigera ziduteza imbere . ni jewe YUSUFU from burundi rumonge kagongo now i live NEW YORK USA if you want find me go kagongo kwa mze AMURANI

  • proud to be a burundian through and through

  • got no idea what they are saying but they are soo cute!!!

  • Lol,

The little girl says that she was slapped twice by that rude little boy they seat together in class. Being slapped caused her such much pain in her mind. The other little girl comes to comfort her best friend, telling her that she will dance for her, play with her till she feels better. Mother also will comfort her and they will pray to God so that the rude little boy may get discipline and grow up as any other good kid.

  • i wouldn't take any crap from that kid. I would his ass to the ground.
