Lol, people should not write so easily : It's better than the original, but something like "I prefer it to the original". Because, a writer is a writer, a performer is a performer, and a singer song-writer is a singer song-writer... if someone can understand what I try to say... :)

I 100% agree with you. There's no question that John Mayer is the true talent here.  People like me who don't have the talent to become a rock star like him enjoy the fact that we can take a beautifully written song and put a different spin on it.

I agree, every artist is different and can add something different to a song. John Mayer's version was amazing and this version was just as amazing.

However, I DO believe that you have the talent to be just as big as he is to be honest. Your voice is unique and you're really really good. =)

you're both right, no one can generalize that one verison is "better" than the other, it's all by preferences and what you prefer...but one thing I DO DISAGREE WITH... when you say "People like me who don't have the talent to become a rock star"... you have EVERYTHING IT TAKES! I actually put all ur covers on a playlist and study to them..you have such a beautiful and soothing voice...and u absolutely have what it takes...you jst need the oprtunity.

What made you change mics?

It was given to me as a gift. It's a really good mic'.

When I first got into all of this recording stuff, I had no idea what I was doing and just relied on a guy at a local Guitar Center chain store. He has been extremely helpful to me with understanding everything to get. He told me there's a difference between every mic' you buy. When I asked him the difference, he said "can't explain it...just a clearer/crisper sound". This mic' made me a believer. It's a great mic.

Absolutely I can do that...

I've had a few requests for that so what I plan to do is do a two part tutorial on the equipment you need, some basic theories behind everything and how to mix the audio and video together.

As long as I don't end up having to do work (for my real job lol) this weekend I should be able to get it up this weekend.
