  • I found it at a low level then when I became level 20. Smithing 50 I made boots Problem it makes the game to easy

  • For me that's the best armor once you enchant it and stuff...

  • I have either found all my steel plate armor or taken it from the people I have killed. I don't really remember though. I like it and I'm going to look into smithing it for upgrades. So far, I really don't worry about dying since I've found it all. I do have smithing over 90 so I could make the deadric armor, but I don't really like the looks of it, and I'm afraid of it making the game too easy then.

  • @engnir1 Nope, the game adaptates with your current level, My brother used cheats to make his health, magicka and stamina to 999 and when attempting at the Stormcloaks mission, he found so freakin' many Draugr Deathlord, which is hard to defeat even if your health is 999 and with full Archery perks... And the Dragon he encountered is the Ancient Dragon, one fire breath and his HP reduced by 1/3 even if the HP is 999!

  • In whiterun i wlked into the bannered mare i believe, and a girl randomy attacked i killed her with slmewhat ease and looted the steel plate armor but no helmet...

  • Where i can find it?

  • @timmywolf97 It's pretty hard to just find. Very few NPCs use it, except for maybe some random bandits. I just trained in Smithing, spent an extra point on Elven and then Advanced armors. After that it's pretty easy to get the materials you need. The downside is you'll have wasted a point on Elven.

  • @timmywolf97 you can either get to level 50 and make it or in the main story when you go into the dwemer ruin to find the elder scroll there is someone down there who is wearing it (apart from the helmet) and you kill her and take it

  • where can i find the armor???????

  • @xSLIKGx you need to get the advanced armors perk. i think there are a few pieces scattered around skyrim, though.

  • mine is upgraded SUPERIOR :D

  • Where can u find the Steel plate Helmet?

  • @msdavid54 you can find it in a silver hand quest or buy it after level 18 or something

  • I found the woman in whiterun in the inn next to belethors shop who challenges you to a brawl hired her as a mercenary left white run and killed her.instant steel plate armor.

  • You can get it by stealing that guys research on the falmer in the thieves guild. Before you leave some guards come in, one of them donning full steel plate :)

  • the ideal armor 4 me its got a full face helmet and its got tht nord look unlike daedric armor which makes u look like alduin's spawn (which is awesome but not 4 me)

  • my steelplate armor is now 702 armor rating its higher than my deadric armor

  • at what level bandit cheif drops this armor

  • @addykk47 im level 19 and a bandit chief dropped it for me

  • @addykk47 i think level 16 is the level maybe 15

  • lol goof not all of them have plate armor. it depends on what level you are. the higher the level the better the drops by npcs..... u dun goof'd took an arrow to the brain.

  • the bandit cheif is wearing steel armor not steel plate armor help!!

  • how steep are the specs for this game. if i run FO new vegas on low will it be able to handle this game?

  • Hahaha Lvl 20 im lvl 21.. :P

  • it looks the coolest with a dwarven hammer on the back

  • how do you get this armour?

  • @TheAdidasforever Easiest way is to kill a Bandit Chief, He got all the gear. I know where one Bandit chief is, Hes in the Valtheim Towers close to Whiterun. Or do it te hard way, Gather one piece after another in the dwarven dungeon thing where you get the eldre scroll

  • Its looks bad ass and when you make it flawless or unique its good from smithing.

  • Just craft it.. smithing level 50. I'm making all the armor myself..

  • where can i find steel plate boots and gauntlets??

  • @Fabio91ITA craft them?

  • @MangoUNINC You can find this armour when you go to Saarthal with tolfidor on that quest. After tolfidor tells you about you going back to the college to tell someone about the orb theres a chest surrounded by plants and I found the armour there. It had 100 armour rating.

  • Is there a steel plated shield too? Or only regular armor?

  • just get it at level one.... at windhelm look up how to get good armor at level one! :D

  • having 100 in smithing, i might just make myself a steel helm cuz it looks badass

  • People you can get this at level 1, when you go to whiterun at the begging of the game go the inn called the bannered mare, and talk to the woman warrior at the back. challenge her to a brawl and win then you can ask her to follow you as a companion. then lead her to a unhostile place like the guardian stones since you walk past them at beggining of game. kill her and take her steelplate armor. all this at level 1! thumbs up so people can see!

  • @iSpudzz thx man, i did exactly as you fortold, now i have some steelplated armour. thanks mate, plus no bounty...:D...yeyeye!!!

  • @EverythinElseMatters :) glad it helped

  • @iSpudzz ahh i read this comment 3am, i got on, went to that place, she was there, did what u said, got the armourr =]] jus need the helmet...

  • @DoubleAAz Cool :D

  • @iSpudzz WHERE DO I GET THE HELMET its driving me nuts :/

  • @DoubleAAz Im sorry i dont know, it seems the only way i know of getting it is crafting it in a blacksmith. but i will try and find out for you :)

  • @iSpudzz its in Tolvalds cave according to people and WIki, ty though!

  • @DoubleAAz in tolvald's cave

  • @thestorniolo thankss, im halfway in there..damn kalmer or whatever...shits hard to kill in packs

  • @DoubleAAz yeah,i hate them

  • @thestorniolo i went into the cave, got through it, went through all chests, no helm...wtf?!

  • @DoubleAAz woah,strange...

  • @thestorniolo i was thinking that..hopefully it'll turn up...

  • man where do you find this armor? I read it begins to appear at around level 15, I'm now level 21 and have bought every piece except the chest piece, where can I find the chest piece!? Is there a way without smithing? My smithing skill is not high enough

  • you can find this from mercenaries in black briar stables yes?

  • looks great from the back but the eyes are.... weird

  • it makes no sense that this is on the light side of the perk tree. It's heavy armor.

  • @DoobSac Ye its ridiculous. Game developer must having arrow in knee.

  • @zrhtemplar arrow in the head.

  • @zrhtemplar made my day! LOL

  • @zrhtemplar how did u find that stell helmet

  • @63xxSHOWMANxx63 steel

  • @zrhtemplar or dragonbone shoved up their arse!

  • @DoobSac

Bethesda didn't do a good job with some of the perk tree's. there are many perks that are stupid or misplaced

  • @tarded01 like fists of steel? lol

  • @DoobSac no its not when scrolls on to it it says heavy armour

  • @DoobSac but isent it on neither of the sides(or both, depending on your view)?

  • @DoobSac Urmm, steel plate IS heavy armour... :L normal steel and steel plate both are.

  • @Gingrnut no shit did you read the comment correctly? I clearly said it is heavy armor. My gripe was that it's on the light armor side of the smithing perk tree.

  • Comment removed

  • i have the same set of armor..... i stole/looted most of them from bosses but only bought the helmet at like around lvl 20-ish

  • Comment removed

  • Coolest looking armor in the game.

  • This us my fab armour because it's simple but still looks awesome! Just don't like the helmet too much though.

  • this is kind of my favourite armour, prob just cause it looks awesome

  • Is this stronger than ebony

  • How can you craft it??

  • @MrVollBlau Advanced armor perk is what you need on left side of blacksmithing.

  • where did you find that

  • u can make scaled and plate armor in smithing after u get the perk. in order to make it u select steel in the armor choices then scroll till u find plate or scalled which ever ur aiming to smith

  • best looking armor imo

  • got the whole set at lvl 9 after killing a guy i hired and killed him rofl.

  • Love that armour, but I hate the helmet, luckily a hood or an iron helmet make it looks epic.

  • @ParanoidPaal ur gay and helmet rocks!

  • @SaidenFiction But I'm not gay ;_;

And the helmet is /kinda/ cool but mostly not.

  • @ParanoidPaal yeah but daedric helmet is coolest!!!

  • @SaidenFiction Iron Helmet master race :P

  • this armor can be find, no need to cruft it

  • i dont know why but i never where helmets. cause whats the point of customizing a character if you cover his face

  • Where can you get the Helmet cause that's all I need

  • This armor looks really hot on women. I mean, Lydia may never get better armor from me again! xD

  • is it light or heavy

  • @TheKanonHara Heavy.

  • it looks fucked up...ima real nord, i wear fur armor or any else nordic armor..not this one

  • Its almost as good as orcish armor

  • you can make steel plate armor when you have the plate armor upgrade perk (it's after the dwarves perk on the left of the skill tree)

Steel plate is better then dwarven armor.

  • where you get that helmet

  • Why is there no shield to match?

  • @gruntpwnsnubz The normal steel shield goes well with it....It doesn't look right on the Barbaric version of Steel armor....

  • What level did you get this at?

  • @EightyOrphans hmm, i am not sure maybe around 15

  • @zrhtemplar did u upgrade it to superior level?

  • @EightyOrphans i found a dude wearing it in a cave and i took it then alvor and other blacksmith started selling it

  • This armor is fucking beautiful, much better than elven armor.

  • @supremcaos Just wait till you see Daedric armor >:D

  • @flamebreaker13 Daedric armor is too jrpg.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

Only good looking set in the damn game.

  • does armor become more intricate (like better detail and shinier) if you upgrade them?

  • @presbydos Sadly no.

  • @presbydos

Well from what I've seen I think steel armour gets some extra decals idk about the rest

  • thats some sweet shit right there mate. make more

  • sweet man make moor vidos

  • @FluffyFudgeCanon222 Crafting Dragon armor video coming up since i just leveld smithy to 100 xD

  • Well you need perk for Steel plate armor as well, its on left side of skill tree.

  • how do you make steel plate armor? my smithing skill is level 80 and i have ebony perk, but i don't know how to make the plate armor. can you please tell me how? thanks.

  • @qwmzy I just found guy who had full steel plate armor on him , it was bandit warchielf at Fortfellhammer.

  • @zrhtemplar where is fortfellhammer?

  • @qwmzy by choosing the perk after the elven armor/weapons

  • @qwmzy If you look on the other side of the smithing 'tree' you will see 'advanced armor'. That's your ticket.

  • @qwmzy The menu system is frustrating :p Plate is under steel. Enjoy!

  • @qwmzy its a perk alled advanced armors, then you just go into the steel armors when craffting and its near the bottom

  • @qwmzy You need perk right on top of elven perk. Scale and Plate arm. perk.

  • @qwmzy There is a skill in the smithing skill tree that enables you to craft steel plated and scaled armor.

  • @qwmzy this plate armor requires the same for each piece except a coronium ingot.

  • @qwmzy perk you need is "advanced armor", is on the left side of the constelation, after elven armor perk

  • @qwmzy It comes after the elven smithing perk

  • @qwmzy

unlock the perk under smithing. u need iron ore and leather strips along with steel ore. (ingots)

  • @qwmzy Do you have the "Advanecd Armors" perk?

  • @qwmzy Put one into the Advanced armor perk, Steel Plate is actually heavy armor, but it goes into the Light armor line of perks.

  • @qwmzy The plate armor is on the left side for blacksmith perk

  • @qwmzy you have to have to advanced armor perk in smithing. You get it from the left side, sadly.

  • @qwmzy (if someone hasnt already told you) you need the second perk on the LEFT side, the advanced armor thingi-perk

  • @qwmzy oh, and its found under steel at the forge, nearly at the bottom

  • @qwmzy to make steel plate armor you need to get the elven armor perk then the advanced armors perk

  • @qwmzy

The perk to be able to make guilded and plate armor is on the "light" side of the smithing tree.

  • @qwmzy At 50 smithing get the advanced armor perk.

  • @qwmzy You need Steel Smithing as well as Advanced Armor. Advanced Armors allows you to make Plate & Scaled armors.

  • @qwmzy You need the Advanced Armors perk. You can forge plate armor yourself then.

  • @qwmzy you have to upgrade the left side of the smithing perk. If you can make ebony then you went up the right side.

  • You need smith skill to level and right mats .

  • how do u uppgrade armor and studd then :P?

  • I am crafting all my armors, i will post others as well,

Just level smithy and u will have more options at forges.

  • where did u get this looks awesome !
