@HotConcert For some reason PMB does that, there maybe an update for it from Sony to fix that, check. Otherwise do it manually through your youtube account by clicking browse and uploading the .mt2s file from your folder.

@PutraFAidz94 One "?" mark would have been just fine. When shooting click Menu > Scene Selection and choose which one you want. There are 60 combination's possible.

@2Pockets0 Yep, pretty much. If you want to see for yourself visit any store that sells them and compare the two side by side. Go to Sony Style website, find both cameras and open them in two different windows, compare side by side.

Great video to show this! I have a question. I JUST bought this same exact camcorder a few days ago, but how do you get it to a file like .avi or .mov or something. I tried using the default converter but the quality seems to degrade, or are my settings not right?

@freestuntz One thing to remember that the more you convert the original files the more water downed they become. I'ts like taking a photograph and keep on making photocopies of it, after a couple of times it will not be so nice. Anyways, you have to download or use a codec to change the files into .avi or .mov, The latest Windows Movie Maker probably can do that for you, you can also download free codes off the internet, just google. I would recommend something like Pinnacle Studio 14.

@InsanePotatoes That's up to you. There are four HD recording options and two HD setting options. If you choose to record in 1080i than it will record in 1080i.

Furthermore, in this price range the HDR-CX150 has the best HD quality picture.

I'm about to buy one . Not perfect but the price is right and the video is great. (BTW I use Sony Movie Studio Platinum 9). My one concern is the audio quality. I'll be using it to record piano and various orchestra concerts. I currently have been using the MPG mode of my Sony DSC-H50, which is horrible. Have you noticed if any of the camera's internal noise comes through on the recordings? For example, can you hear the zoom motors when recording in quiet surroundings?

@builditfilmitM What file format are you encoding them in? To upload to YouTube you don't have to do anything, just click on the .mt2s file and upload it to YouTube. It will upload in full HD. Once the upload is complete, wait for some time so that YouTube can finish rendering the file, at first it will seem bad quality, but after the rendering is done it will be full HD.

Well I have the CX110 and it is Mac Friendly. I use it with iMovie 9 and Toast 10 for archiving the files. Works great and no problems so far. The built in memory is the only difference and since I had many SD card fro 2 to 16gig ones I got the CX110 to save a few bucks.

Should be, but not sure on all them as some do not say. but the ones I have been using are SDHC and have not giving any errors. Also iMovie does read from the camera or SD card inserted into a reader so I am sure the 150 will do the same.

The 16gig used is from HP it does not say which class, but I only paid $37 for it on sale. Super deal from Staples!

The Sony HDR-CX150 has only the built-in zoom mic.

It does not have an Active Interface Shoe. Most HD cams in this price range do not. The Sony HDR-XR350V does, but it also runs about $9xx.xx , the Sony HDR-CX350V which runs about $8xx.xx, Sony HDR-CX300 which runs about $7xx.xx.

The other difference is HDR-CX110 comes in an additional car of "blue" for a total of three color options, as opposed to the HDR-CX150 which comes only in black and red.

There might be a difference in software that comes with the two models, but that is not so important as you'll get what you need for that model.

As far as I know the only difference is in recording media used. The Sony HDR-CX110 can only record onto the removable media such as the Memory Stick Duo Pro or SD/SDHC(Class 4) which are not included and are sold separtely. The Sony HDR-CX150 records in both those options plus the built in non-removable 16GB flash memory. Using the highest HD settings of FX you will be able to record up-to 85 minutes of high HD quality, and if set to LP you can record up to 395 minutes of video.

If you are used to larger gear don't drop it! Maybe if you are going to edit using software, don't use zoom too much while shooting (you might hear the zoom motor), to get better professional results shoot a scene in one zoom and a second zoom-in or zoom-out scene. But otherwise it doesn't matter if your going to shoot for fun.
