And now Carly Hibberd. Driver and rider education is so important. It should be an important part of a learner driver's skill requirements, to be aware of cyclists and also how to manage difficult situations like very narrow roads, double lines, roundabouts etc. Safe road riding courses for new cyclists should be available through cycling organisations. TV campaigns showing HOW to handle difficult situations, not just saying be aware, would be wonderful.
