I'm not sure I really agree with this kind of show. Basically it is about annoying and antagonizing snakes which I am sure would much prefer to be just left alone in peace. I am also wondering if these snakes have been milked of all their venom? Would they allow a tourist to mess about with a venomous snake like that with the potential to kill or at least give a nasty bite that could damage skin & muscle tissue.

@HeavySabre70 Not sure but we saw them Milk one of them and they let us because we paid them money. The average Thai makes $180-$200 a month so money is a valuable asset in being able to do almost anything in Thailand.... be it safe stuff or dangerous.

Theirs even a world healthy organization page just for snake bite because its such a problem. You are one crazy dude for doing this. The cobra is a slower striker compared to other venomous snakes but it could still bite you if u let your guard down. If you got bitten by a cobra or any other highly venomous snake you will be in deep trouble.

Wrong. Those snakes can sense temperature whenever human moves so when you stop moving you will disappear from snakes sight, but even smallest movement makes the snake see you. So just using arm or leg movement makes the snake misleaded and you can use your arm to catch it. Or avoid being hitted. Quickness by humans is turtle moves in animal world.

Wrong. Human couldn't never be as fast as mongoose and able to read snakes movement and reactions. Those snakes have so called vibration-receptor which senses vibration in air connected to it's sense of smell. It creates an image of outside world like a thermo-image. Basically if you move it sees you, if you stop and do nothing you will disappear from it's sight. That dude moves leg, arm or head to mislead the snake while grabbing it from other direction with his arm.

Humans arent obviously so when we get a bad bite and dont get anti venom we are in DEEP trouble.The mongooses speed has little/no affect on why it an kill cobras without being killed.
