I was watching a recon of Troughton in Evil of the Daleks and I noticed he didn't wear the scarf you see here in the death scene. I know footage has been lost, but did he get to do a wardrobe change scene like the doctors did after him?

Is it only me who thinks that they did this VERY effectively for 1966?

I mean, I think they pulled this off more convincingly than a lot of the subsequent regenerations! It's so subtle, you hardly even see it happening.

It's not just you, this regeneration was great especialy for its time, for me it's one of the best regenerations to date. Very effective and well handled.

Nope, definitely not just you. A ton better than the off-camera dodge used for the second and half a ton better than the third which was a straight fade. The fourth was just creepy and made him look like an ambalmed mummy!
