  • OMG! This is soooo cute! I love candy apples and I make them year round, but I add a dash of cinnamon extract OR a couple of red hot candies in the mixture and I add red food coloring near the end while it's boiling slowly.

Also I love to use granny smith apples. Make 'em look pretty. :)

    Great job guys!

  • cute!

  • Yay ! XD I gotta make those for Halloween.

  • I take it once the candy coating cooled off it was just a tiny bit hard to bite into it? ;-) They looked very yummy. Thanks for showing how to make them...

  • OMG how cute!!

  • well done gentlemen, I learned a lot from you.

In the 1950's my Mother used to make candy apples this way. I think she used the leftover candy to make lollipops on toothpicks because she could not find the right sticks. You have talent, and make things easy to understand. Thanks a million.

  • Maybe if you double dip the apples, it would be more opaque, and you could use more of the syrup...good video, my daughter and I will be using this to make some this weekend...Thanks!

  • Looks good - but what do i do with the left-over "candy-syrup"

  • Joel says " I don't know... maybe put it in the freezer for some other day."
