Its not that we are running out. We will never completely run out of oil. BUT oil production is peaking which means we simply cannot drill enough wells to meet the demand rising demand. therefore the cost of oil goes up....this also increases the price of food and almost everything else.
@DronusProductions the Earth permeates oil from underground. if u go back to Texas and drill already drilled oil wells they have plenty of oil in them. oil does not come from dinosaurs and old plants!
@TheMethadoneParty interesting so....why us is importing 2/3 of its oil? and why in texas you can find a lot of abandoned oil fields and why oil companies are liquidating themselves(bloomberg) and why no new oil cargo are build and why no new refineries are build and why oil production is flat from 2008....i think it is better to look back at that great geologist that was M. King Hubbert, he never failed his predictions
