my son is 20 days old and has been diagnosed with this and silent reflux. he makes gurgle noises all time and sounds like he has an upper respiratory infection. he has been on zantac but was put on prevacid. we have tried everything as have you im sure, god bless you and your little one. you arent alone!!
my son has been doing this i looked up sandifers and it turns out not alot of doctors even know about this. thank you for posting your video, i know what you mean by feel hopeless, i never heard of sandifers until a few days ago when my son started screaming and when i picked him up he would almost fling himself out of my arms. now he doesnt even sleep much im lucky if i can get two hours straight with him
A few updates since 2006, Sean my son was diagnosed with Autism-high functioning. Shortly after he started to develop eye blinking tics, we are now having to go to a movement disorder specialist. I now have a third son who does exactly the same thing in the video above. It was not a temper tantrum. He was in pain and we felt so hopeless.
This is exactly what my 7 month old son does during almost every feeding and whenever he is tired. His Dr just gave him Zantac 3 weeks ago and now it's even worse. I guess I should make a video like you did for the next time we go into his Dr so maybe she will be able to see what I go through every day because whenever we go in he is in a good mood so she thinks he must be that way all the time.
this is exactly what my 7 mos old son does... usually during feedings. i think he must have silent reflux... thanks for sharing! hope your little one is doing much better now :)
@NickJonas431 it was his father holding him while I filmed, it was a very repetitive out of the middle of no wear crying in pain , it happened anywhere from 5 - 10 times at night.

thank u for sharing this- at least i know my little legs and me arent the only ones out there! she's 7 months old and a GERD baby, and i've spent all this time trying to get a doctor to listen, and they suggested sandifers yesterday.after watching this i know their right and we're getting somewhere. thanks x
what happens after he is in distress? I am asking as I am looking to see if my daughter (2) reacts the same...she has a mitochondrial disease, and is g-tube fed....and lots of reflux......she sometimes will shove her hand in her mouth and arch and scream and curl up as well.....looks similiar to your little guy....
Thanks for posting this video. I was able to help get a diagnosis for my son because of it.

How is he doing now? Both my children had reflux until solids were a bigger part in their diet. It really sucked!
