Most of the time, there are master pilots dominating your team with their jets and helicopters, so its nearly impossible to get in a jet, much less kill one of these ace flyers. Sometimes you get lucky and the people in the game dont care about jets, but its hard to get good with jets if the enemies have been using jets for who knows how long.

@DaSquirrelsNuts. Yes I agree with you. The PC controls are way better than PS3 and XB360. I find it extremely hard to fly the jets and the helicopters and firing the missels and guns. However, I agree with you. However, I like how you pointed out the air craft carrier having Anti Aircraft. BF was known for all vehicle use but ever since when BF 1943 came out, you could use a battle ship or carrier and drive it and shoot planes down. Dice needs to improve this.

i have trouble with the sensitivity in the jets too btw, i used to play flying games on the pc all the time when i was younger, and it was really easy with a joystick, getting the fine tuning right with a controller is alot tougher

I get that stuff on xbox too but i can deal with it better with a lower sensitivity and i am average pilot but it get easier if you use the right thumb stick to move while attacking and the left thumb stick to attack. The left thumb stick moves the plane a little to aim and the right lets you move and maneuver,

How longer you fly with the Jets, how easier it will be! Even on the PS3 :-D. And tip: If you locked someone with your missles... you can shoot 2 of them. I saw u dropping only one missle, u could easily shoot the second too! haha. Nice vid btw. Cheers!

I am also sick and tired with this fine aiming in jets. You are absolutely correct, that the jets, heli, tank barrels should have separate sensitivity control...

Secondly, this map (oman) & Noshair Canals is a spawn trap, the team which spawns on the carrier (ship) is always likely to lose, unless they have brilliant pilots.

Tip: Keep the sensitivity really low on ps3

I've always played conquest but I haven't gotten any jets. What's up with that? And I also get two different Sharqi Peninsula conquest maps. One with 5 flags and attack helicopters and the 2nd with 3 flags and no attack helicopter. Matter of fact, I've noticed this with all the new maps. Karkand usually has 5 flags to start off with but I've been in a game with only 3 flags. What's the deal with the maps?

I always figured they wanted to show off the "New destruction!" that looks nice and all, but when it comes down to it, I just want my vehicles. I've heard that they'll be changing it around to where you can play regular conquest and won't have to play the smaller versions of the maps, but that remains to be seen.

you're right about the overcorrection, that's problem occurs because bf was originally designed for pc. BF3 on consoles with the 'aiming precision' of call of duty XD, that'd be the Game !

FOR ALL 360 PLAYERS WHO WANT JETS IN CONQUEST ON B2K MAPS.. if you want to play NORMAL conquest on Gulf of Oman and actually use jets, you have to use the server browser and search for conquest games on Gulf of Oman. However when your choosing your game, know that every server marked "B2K" only plays Conquest assault. Yet if you choose a server titled "server12345" or "p12345" (random numbers) they will usually have the normal Conquest games in their rotation, but not always.. Its a pain i know

once you start getting good with the minigun, forget the heat seekers and use rocket pods. They help your team a lot more and its a lot easier to take out tanks and helicopters.

@strayfar I do use Hauppauge. You have to use the capture software that comes with it. It's not perfect and can be a little flaky but once you have selected the correct video type it should show the full picture. On PS3 I set my video output to component 720p and 1080i and that seems to work fine. Hope this helps

@DaSquirrelsNuts The Carrier does have an AA gun. But they can't spawn on top of the carrier unless there is a vehicle. So unless as soon as they spawn in a vehicle they get out, they can't get to the AA gun, theres not a ladder like there is on Noshar Canal

@RacFuhk yeah that would make sense. I annoyed me that if you spawn below deck on the carrier there is a very long walkway but you can't actually get on top. I think the design is pretty poor in this regard. You should be able to spawn into an AA gun at your spawn. It would dramatically lower spawn raping.

I was having trouble with snipers on top of the cranes as well, but it seems to me that a mortar strike would be very effective at clearing them out. It's ideal really, they can't leave without exposing themselves and sacrificing their position, plus the barrage will probably destroy their spawn beacon if they have one. The only issue is whether the mortar strike's arc is high enough to hit to hit the top of the crane.
