I am a big fan of Seinfeld and of the Saw movies. I am currently watching the Seinfeld episode where Newman and Kramer are in the record store and I noticed that the clerk looks a lot like Tobin Bell. I can't believe I was right. It's so strange to see Jigsaw working at a music shop.

I guess with the first film since we didn't know what he really looked like it was a chance for him to work without exposing himself. It's just one of his special toys that he uses to terrify or lure people into traps with I guess.
