  • The only thing that slightly irritates me is I wish the vocals were louder. Nile has brutal fucking vocals! Turn that shit up!

  • @popshotizbeast Since I focus more on the guitars, I have to say that the vocals are fine like this. Plus it gives the sensation of depth, which I believe was intentional, as if the vocalist was on the farthest depths of a dark chamber :D

  • @CarvingAMonster Absolutely man, it's perfect the way it is, because thats the way they intended it. Besides when you're blasting this cd out of a great soundsystem, I don't think thats even a valid complaint lol

  • @metalmikejones yep, more even so :)

  • @DennyisSFU I also dig In their darkened shrines

  • @gonzo99x yeah man i'd have to say in their darkened shrines is my second favorite

  • definitely my favorite Nile album.

  • @DennyIsSFU "Annihilation..." is probably second on my list. I liked "Amongst the Catacombs..." better. But Annihilation is still an awesome album. After those two would be In Their Darkened Shrines, Those Whom the Gods Detest, Black Seeds of Vengeance, and Ithyphallic.

  • @mustaineisgod96 gotta love the power of amongst the catacombs

  • @DennyIsSFU ... of Nephren-Ka

  • @mustaineisgod96 yep lol

  • @mustaineisgod96 Agreed !

  • This may be the best death metal song ever written.

  • \m/ NILE 4 LIFE \m/

  • finally ,some music i can relax to.

  • @waitingforgod1 Same here dude.

  • i think there's a parody of this song you should listen to it

  • Let the Black Hand of SET! Rape THE ANUS OF RAH!

  • that's how I like it XD

  • They said Urine , how brutal is that hahah :P

  • nile is the best death metal band post 1980. george collias is the best metal drummer ive ever heard as well.

  • @blindiris22 dont forget gene hoglan and dave lombardo

  • @HerveGamerDude Damn!! I did forget them :P ... I´m sorry I know a lot of great drummers... My bigger influnces come from Death Metal (specially Technical Death metal), so...

Anyways I respect your opinion they're nice drummers

  • @NoiseIsALive gene hoglan played in death :P

  • @HerveGamerDude :P Oh fuck! you got me as a stupid poser :S I'm sorry about that... Thank's for the information

  • @blindiris22 Death metal didn't even exist until the mid 1980s.

  • @IBrokeTheOath i'm aware, but the best death metal came from the Florida scene which sprouted from death's scream bloody gore in '87 and then their album leprosy in '88. other classic albums such as alters of madness and even possessed's seven churches in 85. best death metal was late 80's early 90's. once mid 90's came the genre slowed down. its almost at a halt now. that's all i was saying.

  • @blindiris22 ya black metal was the new trend in the 90's

  • WHO THE FUCK IS KELLY CLARKSON?

  • @cubetheory

    dunno but it sucks

  • @cubetheory

Kelly Clarkson is some fat guy I saw on tv once

  • Nile are the truest metal band ever...

  • @latinodude85 agree but what about amon amarth?

  • 0:25-0:45 Best 20 seconds of my life. \m/

  • Now THIS is a death metal band.

  • @Jaildale Agreed.

  • Nicee:D

  • the bit when they're singing the quoting bit is so fucking good

  • My Heart Desires to Burn in the Pit of Fire.

Allow My Ka to Blaze in Flames and be Utterly Consumed.

I Stand in Submission Before the Living Uraei of Flame Who Hurls Forth Burning Heat Against The Tongues of Those Who Hath Spoken Evil.

Incinerate Me in the Pits of Burning.

Sear Me in the Pits of the Damned.

Immolate Me in the Pits of Torment.

I Seek only the Charnel Bliss and the Blackened Caress of the Burning Pits of the Duat.

  • Gods, imagine YOU are the one who is about to be consumed in the burning pits of the Duat. I would personally soil myself :)

    And this song is badass

  • fuck you this song is so goddamn fucking sick

i will kill you all now

  • Nile are undoubtedly the maestros of Death Metal, only seems fitting they were inspired by the best: i.e. Morbid Angel :D This song is nuts, so much speed and aggression. \m/ \m/

  • I can't even count how many times I've rewound to 2:00, and it's only been a few days.

  • 2:26 eargasm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1 person will soon have his soul devoured by Anubis.

  • @Ascyltos It is Ammut who devours souls not Anubis.

  • @Ascyltos Seker!!!!!

  • 3:11 Someone farted

  • The most brutal song on the album. Nile is crushing no doubt about that, gotta love em.

  • @1:59 \m/

  • @SickeninglyILL My favorite part too.

  • @wackypack09 mine too lol

  • bend over, nile is here,

  • just fricken epic

  • listen to the drop of the guitars and his vocals when he says, "who shall consume my shade"......wow

  • I challenge you to find something more brutal than Nile. And if you find it then I'll get it banned. Would make any man crazy enough to become republican.

  • @kolliasmalmsteenown I lol @ Dying Fetus compared to this, and that's supposed to be brutal.

  • @kolliasmalmsteenown

    Cerebral Bore ,,

serieusly check this band,, female vocals

  • wish i wrote this.

  • AH, death metal, the best, the greatest and will forever rule the music world!

  • The best Nile album in my opinion!

  • @Stonedinfinity Hell yeah man, this is a great one. The new one is really, REALLY good though.

  • duat=hell=hades? :0?

  • @sexualosiris yes!!

  • @sexualosiris pretty much. Except duat can also refer to the afterlife in general=

    -the "heaven" equivalent, i.e. paradise

-other areas (such as the malevolent)

as far as I know, should the deceased be deserving of punishment, they are absolved more or less "on the spot", immediately after the Weighing of The Heart.

  • @Met6lservant DUAT or TUAT - was secret egytian (Kmt) initiation - of the "twice born" (later became "Osiris's KRST - from this was derived the name "CHRIST-US" - the "incarnated god" )

All Egyptian pharaohs were called "twice born ones"... For that Artificial mountain was built for (Great Pyramid in Giza ) - where Horus on Earth (pharaoh) (KRST - the "anointed one" becomes twice born.

Osiris also became "twice born" through his FAKE son Horus

  • @Met6lservant with other words: LORD Osiris (Ausar, Ashur, Asura, Bacchus, Dionysus) = YHWH / demon with his fake son Hor (KRST - the Anointed one or Yahwistic "Krist-us" - Christ)

LORD Osiris became Yahwistic LORD over Osiris's priest MOSES (Osarphys from Heliopolis ) - with his real name Osarphys. He forbade to mention, worship old gods - including "Golden calf / cow " (representing Maat or Hathor or Mehet Weret cult )

  • @VendPrekmurec lay down some knowledge, bro lol

  • Comment removed

  • @VendPrekmurec fuck yeah, Egyptian history ftw

  • I love the fucking lead guitar parts that run though the song from start to finish.

  • This song is really epic.

  • nile é foda!

  • @666x666Slipknotx Karl Sanders is american but he is pretty much an historian. Ancient Egypt always passionated him.

  • @MrFuzz1229 Dallas is doing the bass stuff in studio since Ithyphallic ( Jon vesano recorded bass on that album before leaving the band ). For shows they do have a bassist: Chris Lollis

  • do they have a bassist?

  • Comment removed

  • NILE...BRUTAL DEATH METAL with a touch of Ancient Egypt...

  • @AncientBarbaricEvil In other words, perfection.

  • @AncientBarbaricEvil I'd say more than just a touch lol

  • Im just getting into this band, is one of the members egyptian or something?

  • @666x666Slipknotx they are all american, but they have a great interest in ancient egypt. none of them are remotely egyptian. hope thats cleared it up for ya :)

  • @swnalake George is Greek :)

Great one, would have loved to see the faces when the song just started ;)

  • @jltl44 you're so badass man! i can just imagine the look on the kids and teacher's faces! they were probably like " oh no! this music is way too talented for our tastes!"

  • @chiaromontestephen everybody just looked at me all at once with "WTF" faces and then everybody just made comments like "holy shit this is fast" or "what is he even saying?" me and all my friends had a pretty good laugh

  • @jltl44 Omg! I've always dreamt of that opportunity ^^

Sorry for commenting after a year, just wanted to approve the awesomeness

  • @jltl44 damn that would be so cool!!! here we don't even have this chance!!! i would definitely choose this song too...

  • @jltl44 please tell me their reaction i always fantasized what it would be like to do that when i was in high school

  • @joelakastud123 Everybody just gave me weird looks and some started saying like "WTF is he saying!!!" or "Do you ACTUALLY like this?" the look on everybodys face was priceless though.

  • @joelakastud123 I did it once. Half the people in the room were like Heck yeah and the other half looked like they had just crapped their pants xD
