Green Is The Color- Portland Timbers '07 Highlight Video

my friend told me this is actually a variation on a "Green is the Color" version the Timbers came out with in the mid-1970s (albeit a couple years after Chelsea FC, which released "Blue" in 1972 - about 3 years before the Timbers were a team).

@kassandra227 True! I remember the 70's version, and that's what we were covering with Fuzzball here. We found out that the song goes much further back, and has been used with a variety of colors and teams over the years.  Hope you enjoyed our update!
