This clip is from 1982. Back then, Sid was in some 2 dimensional roles (like this one) that were pathetic. It's nice to see an actor like Sid improve over time. His older acting roles were forgettable. Now, Sid steals the show even when not the main character. He knows how to make his characters BIGGER than life. In contrast, an actor like Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) seems to get WORSE as time goes on. I think the reason is Sid really cares about his work, while Daniel takes it for granted.

funny thing is Sids voice always reminded me of uncle jesse's voice...when I watched devils rejects I closed my eyes and imagined uncle jesse swearing.

Many people think that sid is a legend in hollywood. I think he is an actor that has strived to do the best he can in every role he took and his common quality over the years has carried him to the top.  a great example of never giving up and staying focused on your career.
