THIS is a neat setup. It's close to the back of the tractor so that it's not lifting the front wheels like what would happen on the ATV. Ya gotta have the logs as far forward as possible.
A 4x4 tractor would be a better choice because you could leave it in four wheel drive so you could have some braking action with the front wheels. Most two wheel drive tractors don't have brakes on the front wheels.(As you can probably tell, I live in steeper country)
