look at all that wasted diesel being burnt off in the manifold, turbo, EGR and CAT. SMOKE=BROKE. Your engine is broken! Tune it so it uses the max amount of diesel WITHOUT smoke and it will be a lot faster than it is now and provide more BHP. A common mistake by people who know FA about cars. RATED ZERO.
@urbex2007 there is some truth to that, however I have seen big diesel pickup truck on the drag strip and they are screwed out to the max and billowing out smoke, so it can't be totally true, and besides he needs to run rich so he uses all the nitrous

A FORGE Frount mounted intercooler, Derv Doctor twin piston dump valve system, Piper Fast road cam, Helex Autosport uprated clutch kit, A Turbo technics T2-25 hybrid turbo with modified exhaust manifold, modified 406 1.9 DT inlet manifold, Modified high flow Bosch injectors and modified Bosch feul pump, De-Cat down pipe and longlife system WIZZARDS OF NOS/INTER PRO 35BHP Nitrous system ERL Aquamist injection, 194.6 BHP with noz!
out of interest, if you turned the n2o off, with the same mapping did it smoke on boost? Its really clean when on boost and just over fuels bottom end really on yours. Impressive stats, tho its torques we wanna see ;)
@allistairc123 it is possible you can tune a diesel for bhp and loose torque or you can do it the other way around. ideally you want to balance the 2 with a custom remap
@Sithadmin1982, there bloody epic seeing the acceleration on the GTI-6s just keeps going. Its all good modding your car but the gearbox is pretty dam important aswell.
lpg is cheaper than nitrous, same affect too. that'll confuse the sh!tsniffers lol

@iansr33 Let me stop you right there. The phase 3 306 came with the HDi engine which most definitely has an engine management system.
A transplant to the ford developed DW10 BTED4 from the DW10 TD would be a cheap way to gain around 40bhp, basically the same engine.

dts dont have as much torque as the hdi, thats why the hdis have a longer ratio box as standard
