We had a 69 sattelite same fucken thing as a Road Runner anyways we took it down to get it painted n the mother fuckers stole it. Same assholes had our charger worse condition but what the hell at least we got her back cant wait to start workin on mopars im like overdosing on fords right now
Nice ride. I had a 69 back in the late 80's and early 90's. It was originally a 383 4-speed car with a bench seat and a/c. I had a 440 6bbl in it. I had the mechanical outboard carbs instead of vacuum. I also put 3.91 gears in mine. When I drove it normally, it actually got 14mpg. I also had the Mopar .509 cam in it. Mine was "root beer" brown with a black vinyl top. This video brings back many good memories. I so regret selling the car :( thanks for posting it!!!!!
I have owned a b5 blue 69 road runner for about 20 years. It will be painted a darker midnight blue soon. I was just wondering what state you are in, I am located in western MD.
It's a B5 blue. The B7"Jamaican Blue" is a little darker. We know a man that has a B7,(68 RR) and it's a beauty.Either color looks good. My niece, and her husband just bought a new hemi Challenger, and it's a B5 blue. The new Mopars painted the colors of the old cars really look good.
My Dad Had a 340 duster and a 427 hemi Road Runner. It was blue I wish I could have seen it but it was befor my time. Have you done anything to it besides putting a bigger V8 in it? Thanks for posting I all ways wonder what they sound like going down the road.
@Sazabizc Thanks for watching. The car was about two years old when we bought"her".The rest of of the running gear is the same that came in it.
We just put a bigger motor in it(cubic inch). We put a 391 rear end in it, and after we put the 440 in, it only got about 8 miles per gallon on gas.We put the 323s back in and now it gets about 11.
We love all old cars. My brother had many, to name a few, a 69 Z28, 69 Mach 1 Mustang, 65 gto, 69 Super Bee, 69 Torino, plus a few more.
That's a nice sounding car. It idles nice (unlike many of the other ones I have seen on youtube) but still sounds nice and powerful when you step on the gas.
It is a 440 in it.I have the 383 stored in the garage. We have had "Her"for many years(38).About seven years ago the 383 was geting tired,so we put a 440 6Pack motor in it.Has about three thousand miles on the motor. Thanks for asking.
Thanks, just crawling behind the wheel makes me feel different, in a good way...

Is that B7 blue (Jamacian Blue)? I would like to do my 68 in the same color.
