is there much difference in quality between the urban decay and mac eye shadows?

havent used either yet but fancy something different to clinique and rimmel! :)

Yes there is! There is a huge difference in Mac and Urban Decay to Clinique and Rimmel. Mac eyeshadows have a lot of color payoff and when you apply the eyeshadow onto your eyes, the color looks exactly as it does in the container. That is why people love Mac so much. Urban Decay eyeshadows glide on super smooth and are very pigmented as well. I would definitely recommend you buying at least one eyeshadow of each brand to try it out! Especially the matte colors. They are so intense!

yeah the foundation/eyeshadow are reasonable its really just those foundation brushes like the 168 or 227 there over 30-40 dollars. but compared to chanel i agree. is it possible to replace a brush like 168 with one almost the same for like 10 dollars that you can get at walgreens?

The only brush that I've found to be a little similar to the 168 is a brush I got from Sally's Beauty Supply. It's from Face Secrets and it's called an angle blush brush. You can tell a difference in the bristles though; the Face Secrets brush is a lot fluffier and not as soft as the Mac's 168. But I use it to apply my blush, since it's wider and fluffier and works for me. The Face Secrets brush is about 10 dollars or less, if I remember correctly.

i think mac prices are reasonable i mean it is a bit expensive but u do get wat ure paying for. like if u pay $45(AUD) for a foundation it really is worth ur money.

hey hun, mac's foundation is actually pretty cheap compared to other brands! like i used to wear nars and it's almost $50 for their powder, so is chanel. mac's foundations are only 20 something dollars. i don't really like their foundations since they don't seem to work with my skin (breaks me out) but mac's eyeshadows are definitely worth the money. they last FOREVER and have such intense color payoff. so i always recommend their eyeshadows to anyone who doesn't know what to buy from mac. :]
