may the people of the titanic rest in peace, for they are the true heros of man-kind. dieing for the wealthier of the poeple on that ship. and those poor children, none of those people ever had a saying :( may they all rest in peace.
The ship may have been the best in the world, but I heard it had a lot to do with the tensile strength of the steel used to build the ship. Due to the extreme cold of the north Atlantic, it caused fractures in the steel when it struck the iceburg. This was something none of them took into consideration when building the ship. Plus the lack of lifeboats as stated below... RIP those that lost their lives that night.
oylimpic could have served much longer but with ww2 looming thay didnt wont her to have the same fate as britannic so they did the only other thing scrap her
I agree. Modern liners and cruise ships are disgusting to look at. You cant beat the look of an old liner, gracefull but powerful at the same time. QM, QE and Normandie were the last of the classic liners that were pleasing to the eye. My favourite was Aquitania. Beautiful and served in two world wars. RIP RMS Aquitania
This ship was by far the most beautiful vessel ever constructed and the world will never see anything like her again. However her builders did not take the necessary safety steps to ensure the safety of all of her passengers. That makes the story of this wonderful liner a lesson to future ships. There are no ships today that can quite match the Titanic's elegance and luxury. There are ships with greater magnificence and size but they do not for the most part even resemble ships at all...
The laws around that time stated that Titanic carried enough Lifeboats Blame White Star Line they didnt want the full capacity of lifeboats because the deck would be cluttered the builders had these life boats for all in their plans white star told them they didnt want as much. Titanics elegance, size luxury was down to the men of belfast who designed and built her! with their hands and minds they created the most beautiful ship ever not enough people comment on that! rather blaming them instead
Bruse ismay, went from his orginal plan of 48 life boats to just 16 life boats for over 2000passangers and crew, and yes the lifeboats were not filled up, because crew were unsure of howmuch weight they could take.
i wanna pay my respects to my great gran uncle andy scannel who died only 9 yrs old on the titanic when it sank.god bless u andy and every1 who lost their lives on that tragic and horryfyin night. luv u andy.
What are you talking about marketboyz? All 20 of Titanic's lifeboats were launched (not all of them the right way up). She took ages to sink (two and a half hours) - plenty of time to launch the boats.
i would have loved to been there round the time of the titanic when she set sail..on her maiden voyage...just i wish more i saw her venture back to southampton...they took something beautiful when she went down..xxx
look when you say even god could not sink this ship then ps.2:12 in the day of your calmity i shall laugh i shall mock you from heaven so take the pride out then maybe the ship would still be around if not sold for scrap .pride goes befor a fall
This is a beautiful tribute, I don't think anyone, who hadn't lived through that entire tragedy, can possibly come close to imagine the horrors and sadness of that night and the following days. Very moving tribute to those who lost their lives and to those who lived. :(
you have out done your self I'm so proud of you.because if my love one had die when the titanic sunk your video of remembering this would have touch my heart. This video You have done such a wonderful job with picture and movie part this is hard to put into words one million stars 5 is not enough
as i watch this i can't help but think of all those who died and i can stil see the titanocs ghost when ever i go to southampton docks and i cry for all those who perished on that tragic night of 14/04/1912
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some Old 1930's famous ship tobacco cards, including the Titanic, Bounty, Mayflower, Golden Hind ....
This is very touching! all those men who built it are even hero's! i'm sure it took ages! You know though, if the Titanic didn't sink, it wouldn't be what it is today!
im starting to get my interest in titanic back now, what i hate is that the real titanic all the way down there in the dark depths of the water is slowly discintegrating (however you spell it)its slowly decaying away and itll be gone forever but titanics memory will still be with us.
This is so nice from your part .... This ship will always be in my heart as th Queen Of The Ocean and eaven if they will build other thousands of ships, no other ship will ever compare with the RMS TITANIC never !! 10x for the video :*:*
if the captain still had the ship sailing, then the titanic would be at 10,300 feet below in the dark abyss shadow waters of the atlantic were Bob Ballard found her in 1985 if I recall
Everytime I watch anything on the titanic it just gives me the chills.

should have taken a bow shot and not exposed the side bcause as all sea man know sides of the ship is the weakest part.

Only thing is the speed she was going could of done alot of damage within the ship, and also a percentage of damage to the structure.
Its such a shame the 3 sisters went down in a horible way, i would of loved to have seen her sail into southampton
