im going to do this with my VSR i couldnt even dare touch my DSR-1 though hahaha... i did this to my 1911 to paint but just to the normal color for a patina look and its amazing

when you painted your CQBR did you totally take apart your gun like take out the gearbox and stuff or did you just put tape around the magwell and stuff?

@BlurredKiller I just taped off the magwell, trigger, and fake bolt. Of course I was very careful with the taping, as paint getting into the gearbox can be bad. But as long as you take your time and are careful, you shouldn't have a problem.
