  • Hottest Trekkie ever!!!

  • i find it ridiculous to think this came from the same band as when your evil

  • @henter136 yeah, rediculously AWESOME.

  • @ShirosakiH cant disagree there

  • its hard to keep a straight face if you're listening to it for the first time but have heard other voltaire songs like when you're evil.

  • Thumbs up if came here from google!! YEAH HOLLA AT YA GOOGLERS

  • Comment removed

  • We'll keep the booze but please send back the F**king Jem'hadar

    2:15 :D

  • Thumbs up if you're here cuz of AMV Hell 5.

  • "Set up a neutrino field inside a can of peas, hold onto Jordis visor and sing into Datas knee."

    Which episode was that in?

  • this defines star trek perfectly :P

  • William Shatner needs to cover this song.

  • @Yamamanama seconded

  • Thumbs up if you're here because of Atheist Experience

  • @lagerbaer i'm here because of AMV Hell 5

  • a tribble some chewing gum. heh

  • Here from the Atheist Experience.

  • @Mattysmyth0593 LOL, just watching yesterdays episode and once Martin said the name of the song, Boom...Love it.

  • @Mattysmyth0593 Ditto

  • @Mattysmyth0593 data, um, I mean ditto. me to. Thanks to the AE for another obscure reference to geek gold.Atheist nerds rule!

  • Oh Brainscratchcomms...Thanks for making me find this...

  • @BlitzkriegOmega huzzah

  • I thank AMV Hell 5 for introducing me to this song!

  • @LordNar13 agreed. haruhi shuzemiya + Voltaire = win

  • Somebody needs to do this with real clips!

  • "We made a laser-phaser-gun and shot him in the head!" *lol*

As a Trekkie I simply have to love this!

    Voltaire rules! :D

  • turn on the subs, it's hilarious

  • @ruckusman333 It didn't do anything. : /

  • This is priceless.

  • The DS9 part is so true. Whatever happened to boldy going where no man has gone before?

  • @Burningmace ~ Well, they let the stuff come boldly to them! I liked DS9 and Voyager.

  • well, if you ask me most shows tend to have the characters do "improvisations", Star Trek is not really alone but they are doing it at somewhat larger scales considering that they fly giant planet killers while stereotypical American army shows are usually focused on some pluton or squad.

  • Is that Dave Navarro?

  • my dad loves Star Trek! Imma send this to him. i bet he'll laugh. :)

  • Haha this is so funny. I was listening to this while homeschooling...My mom gave me an odd look when I almost fell off my chair laughing. Yes, mom pre-algebra is hilarious....

  • Great song

    and

It always pissed me off that 7 of 9 was so hot in her first appearance

and then they removed all her sexy robotics.

    Anyone agree?

  • lol, i like how he is lightly teasing william shatner's singing

  • Voltaire for President. Let's go check on the current Klingons.

  • That was fucking glorious. I laughed so hard I actually started choking.

  • It's all true in this song. The Klingons did look like Puerto Ricans. Now they look like what voltaire said.

  • I'm voting for Voltaire in 2012.

  • "I was stranded on a planet, just me and Spock"

Am I the only one who thought this was a gay setup? That the next line would be something about cock?

  • @TariqAlSuave absolutely.

  • Talk about catchy! I barely got halfway through the song before I was bouncing along to it. Voltaire = new favorite band.

  • @xfallenxxangelx i did as it started playing

  • The show is so full of deus ex machinas, it's as predictable as a redshirt dying in each episode.

  • 7of9 sexiest borg ever!

  • This is the shit! Voltaire for overlord!!!

  • jizzed. in. my pants

  • thats how our grandfathers did things, thats how we do things and thats how things should be done, by just making shit up as you go

  • LMAO! This so hilarious and so true! I cant believed I missed him at DragonCon

  • 14 people dont know how to make shit up

  • im glad im not the red shirt guy

  • KHAAAAAAAAAAN!!!

  • makes you want to skip around

  • 14 people have no imagination to fight with

  • "Banned on Vulcan"

Man, what isn't? Those fuckers banned Voltaire.

The OLD, DEAD Voltaire. They'll ban anything.

  • @Kieranfoy

I think by the Time Vulcan banned -this- Voltaire, they'd both be old and dead.

  • The transcribed thingy makes even more shit up ¬_¬

  • CAUSE IF WE FIND WE'RE IN A BIND

WE JUST MAKE SOME SHIT UP

  • 14 trekkies think the technobabble actually means something sciency

  • @jacevicki only about 20% of the technobabble on the show is actually based on some from of science if that.

  • @kingtorm2 I am willing to bet that you pulled that out of your ass. Because it seems way too high for me.

  • @jacevicki 34% of all statistics are wrong

  • @Fridaythe18th You can use statistics to prove anything. 90% of people know that.

  • We'll keep the booze but please send back the fuckin' Gemhadar! XD

All joking aside though, this conveys an important message: You'll be fine if you make shit up as you go along. I'm srious, that wasn't a joke even if it sounded like one.

  • 14 people cant reverse the polarity. =p

  • "this one has a smashing ass and a lovely set of tits" OMG Voltaire is fuckin funny

  • People should not only listen, but also do some of the messages Voltaire teach through his songs, just for an example:Goodnight Demonslayer teach us to learn to stand up after a fall, especially caused by people...Anyway,that's not the focus.I'm really glad that only some of the people who listened got any message =/

  • I am a huge trekkie, and I think this song is FANTASTIC!

  • 14 people don't know how to Bounce a Graviton Particle beam off the main deflector dish

  • This song is outstanding.

  • this is great

  • AMV hell 5 bought me here!

  • Genius. Absolutely genius.

  • YES. JUST YES.

  • I can't believe this guy guest stars on Kid MMO's >_>

  • @Bankai4tailLuffy

I would like to point out that AQW is more for older people than it is for kids. All of the references they throw in there are completely over kids' heads. Not to mention the fact that they advertise on Newgrounds. If it were meant for kids only, there's no way they would advertise on Newgrounds, which is a very, VERY adult website.

  • @acrestfallenimmortal Newgrounds isn't NECESSARLY an adult website, it has kid-friendly games. And AQW is like Ages 10+

  • @Bankai4tailLuffy

I'm sorry, but saying that it isn't "necessarily" an adult website is a ridiculous stretch. If you have to go out of your way to search out the few "kid-friendly" games on the website, it's an adult website. Maybe not the true definition of adult, but at the very least 16+. AQW is very kid friendly, but the creators throw in so many references to things that go completely over the younger users' heads. My point is that AQW isn't ONLY a kid's game.

  • @Bankai4tailLuffy

have you seen the shit Randy Newman makes? thats whats wrong with kids today

  • @jinx2black

I rather like Newman's work, I'm not sure I see your point.

  • Illogical Awesome Sauce.

  • We just keep on laughing as we play! xD

  • 14 people just got attacked by the Klingons

  • I listen to this while reading Bleach.

  • @krazyllah Hell yeah, thats the way to go

  • Comment removed

  • i just couldn't stop laughing until the end

  • @makesdamoney well got a new pear so I'm happy but sad it was raining

  • Love this forever.

  • I love Star Trek.

    I love Voltaire.

I just found out about this album.

I think my skull has melted.

  • @10MoNiOl Hah. Welcome to my world....Ahhh...Wait, I'm only 11.........Should I be listening to Voltaire??? I've been watching Star Trek since I was.......4 or 5...wait...before that...2. OWO

  • @drmccoyfan909 11? Pfft! Age has nothing to do with taste! Listen all you want my friend! For you are the one who shall carry on the tradition of awesome-ness!!! *teardrop*

  • This is purely made of awesome. From a long-term hardcore Star Trek fan.

  • @sloutlack well true but I fixed it yay but then my ear phones broke a www

  • @leeking9999 lmao

  • What the fuck every song from Voltaire is in really high pitch HELP

  • @leeking9999 Voltaire is too awesome for your computer to handle.

  • Fuck this live was fucking amazing I just remember his quote wesleys pimples.. he asks what the fuck it was then just replys with "Its an enomaly" =D fuck i love this guy plus HE HUGGED ME :D

  • I've never seen this show (unless you count watching five minutes of it when I enter a room and leave after doing something) but this is fucking awesome

  • @mikelouisvilleallen

    Get out.

  • Hahah by Athena, I love this.

  • the title alone cracked me up

  • makes me want to dance...

  • Duffy: What about attempting a magnetic quench on the fusion pre-burners?

Geordi: No, I tried that already... the magnetic fields won't reset.

Wesley: Could the fuel inlet servos be caught in cycle?

Geordi: If they were, the swirl dampers would be frozen too... and they aren't.

-- Hollow Pursuits (TNG Episode 3x21)

  • @Logixmaster

Dude, you're making my brain hurt

  • This is really, really, funny!!!

  • xD Best. Star Trek song. Ever.

  • hehe love this song and this singer! >:D :P

  • the hallmark of a great fan of something is being able to listen to criticism about said thing and completely agree with it but still like it ehhh it was more profound in my head

  • You know you're a true fan of insert fandom here when you can make those criticisms yourself, and stilllove it to death, amirite?

  • @FlamboyantPencil A-FUCKING-MEN!!

  • set up a neutrino field in a can of peas hold on to geordi's visor and sing into data's knee

  • Completely true, anyone that watched the show knows that they just make shit up as they go and somehow it works and they explain it with pure technobabble in every version of the show.

  • @mlgamer52 It is totally true, but why else would we love it? XD It shows us that BSing can get you anywhere in life and in space!

  • @mlgamer52 Treknobabble sir ^_^

  • @Aitamen Hehe, nice one. Gotta love puns once in a while. :3

  • @mlgamer52 i agree, but you gotta agree, star trek still rules

  • @kronos1546 Of course, never said that the show was bad, just that it was weird. And I admit that I love the weirdness of it, makes the entire show fun to watch and see what they'd make up to get out of whatever situation they were in.

  • @mlgamer52

And we ~still~ love all of it.

  • @shiftergoddessathena Yes, we do. ^_^

  • @mlgamer52 as much as i love star trek. its true

  • @mlgamer52 and its still awesome! Star Trek is cool <3

  • @mlgamer52 The term is "Treknobabble," which is used to describe a combination of pseudo-science and technobabble. This combination was first seen in Star Trek, which is how the word was coined.

  • Hehehe... You could apply this to Stargate SG1 too, I loved that show (I hate SGU by the way) but that's pretty much the formula.

  • @Atheistx82

Except, unlike Star Trek, they kept track of exactly how every trick they ever did worked, and used the same trick two of three times. Everything you ever see in Stargate will come back in some form or another later.

Which, really, means they're not just making shit up. Or at least, the stuff they make up is actually incorporated into the settings mechanics.

How often have you seen Star Trek use the same trick twice?

  • @DarkestMirrored That's true, they might just make some shit up at the start of a new season to solve the impossible climax they built for the season finally, but they'd remember that, they had a couple of episodes where they even made fun of it (with that movie director alien guy), and they'd actually use what happened in later episodes, or at least mention it when discussing strategy.

  • ITS AN ANOMALY!!!!

  • It's so strange to hear Voltaire with no violin... but I can't stop laughing! :D

'Cuz when we find we're in a bind, we just make some shit up!'

  • Truly epic, although it sounds funnier when my friend sings it. Never mind. Epak shtuff :D

  • star wars one is also dam. good seeing i am a fan of both

  • @vamwolf Indeed! I like Star Wars also. No rule saying you can't enjoy both!

  • Any Star Trek fan will immediately find the humor in this! Pretty damn good!

  • This is cool. first album got through,

  • heh the comments on videos all over you tube are filled with nothing but hateful comments people sure are immature

  • Voltaires just referring to the frequently created plotholes in the star trek series. Anyone who takes these kinda lyrics canonically is honestly stupid.

  • Deadalus: You're shitting me!

  • And if you're at a party on the Starship Enterprise, and the karaoke player just plain old up and dies, set up a neutrino field inside a can of peas, hold on to Geordi's visor and sing into Data's knees.

  • I love how he cuts off at like 1:15.

  • It's funny cuz all of this happens in the series!

  • Bounce the graviton particle beam :D

  • Off the main deflector dish.

  • @irocz0r You are wrong, sir.

  • Fuck you. Its Voltaire, therefore, it kicks ass.

  • dear god, and here I thought you couldn't get any stupider, an opinion is ones own belief on a subject therefore it cannot be wrong.

  • You've probably realized by now that I have absolutely no intention of taking either you or this argument seriously.

  • And if I said that it's my opinion that you're a goatfucker, you'd be the first to tell me I'm wrong

  • well like you said its your opinion but its not a fact

    so fuck off :P

  • Actually beliefs and opinions can be wrong:

    Racism

    social concervatism

    holocaust denial

    liking pop music

  • @richardmaudsley77 no u can believe that another persons believes are wrong but they can never be wrong

  • @taksxeo Yeah they can. Saying otherwise is bullshit.

  • @richardmaudsley77 i agree that some believes can be wrong for example the earth is flat and white people are better than black... however believes such as socialism is the correct way for society rather than liberalism and the likes of such. these thing can be discussed but there isn't really a real "correct" answer because we cant prove either.

ps. let yet another spam war begin!

  • @richardmaudsley77 Holocaust denial isn't about beliefs, it's about denying a provable fact. And pop music? We don't need that, we have POP CYNICISM! Pick any hyper-popular music/show/etc, and rip it apart with your RAZOR-SHARP WIT! They're popular, so they suck! All the COOL KIDS hate popular things now. Ironic, innit?

  • @Lurkage what's your problem?

  • @Lurkage there is only one provable philosophical truth according to mathematical standards. Cogito ergo sum. I think therefore I am. Everything else relies purely on belief, including the holocaust.

  • @FukUniggr Even that's debatable - the very most you can possibly say with any confidence is that there is a thought going on. The self is elusive and perhaps meaningless.

  • if you and reality disagree reality wins

  • I don't know, I guess that depends on how Zen you are. :D
