great vid and annotations but 2 things: one, I'd keep the annotations right under the xhair so I don't have to look away from the action when I'm watching in fullscreen and two, I recommend using the big earner or even the spycicle but I see you know what you're doing..

I'm not really in a position to criticize as still have a lot things to improve when playing spy, especially trickstabs, but only thing that puzzles me is why you didn't go for that tele in the beginning which was given away by multiple ppl dropping down from that window with their feet glowing. I usually try to go for good blu teles on payload asap as they are IMO even bigger threat than medics. Probably missed that in heat of battle :) Great video, keep posting and annotating! They aren't actually facestabs, it just sometimes looks like it on the victim's screen due to lag.

@TalismDK its actually server lag, how it works is that area where you can perform a backstab moves when a character moves (no shit) how if you/they have i high enough ping the area doesnt move fast enough to be proper, so if youre running directly at a target who is looking at you and running backwards, and if your/thier ping is high enough you can effectively get a backstab due to the lag from the server computing the movement

@dandroid98 Scout is actually a great disguise for certain purposes. I use it often for crossing the line, since it's an obvious disguise which I don't mind "ruining"--I save the more convincing disguises for when I'm looking to fool the enemy. It's also quite nice since it has the smallest model and allows you to hide in spots where other character's models would poke out.

@Daelerados If you use the dot at its smallest setting, it can be really hard to see. The script is supposed to help with that. The alternating crosshair type helps to mitigate the expanding crosshair effect with the Amby--it keeps it from being so huge the crosshair covers up the target at first.

2) some time on tr_walkway really helps. I like to spend 15 minutes stabbing there to warm up whenever I play, and the repetition will make execution all muscle memory.

I'll be honest, stabby, the annotations make this really a better video. While it takes more work, putting this through something like Vegas or AE and adding in-video text would take this a step farther. I like going into your head like that, the analysis is nice.

I think you might also try a breakdown using the thirdperson command in a longer video, two or three lives, since you live so bloody long.

Last, I'm a script noob, and I can't get the ones you gave me to work. Can I haz stabby chat?

I find getting stimulating footage with the IW a lot more difficult since my playstyle is much less aggressive and experimental. I'm much more prudent--although it does pay off, I just don't like to leave people waiting.

That said, the next upload will be a fully annotated life with the IW. I'm choosing between two runs at the moment.
