Chris Leak was an Undrafted free agent in 2007. The various projects include only players drafted as quarterbacks, some college quarterbacks that are listed as WR or RB are missing.
@DCMPdotcom Erik Kramer came into the NFL as an Atlanta Falcon in the 1987 as a strike game undrafted free agent. He is presently an analyst for FSN - Detroit, covering the Lions.
I plan to add something about the coin flip of the 1970 Draft between the Steelers & Bears. Steelers won the toss and took Terry Bradshaw first overall.
@bobwaters , this was a great video to see the Bears history of qb's. George Blanda grew up in Youngwood, Pa. (5 minutes from where I'm from). I believe Johnny Lujack hailed from Connellsville, Pa. a few minutes the other direction!
@DaBearsManiac Doug Flutie was drafted by the L.A. Rams after he had signed with the USFL New Jersey Generals. This list is only Draft picks, not starters.
Wouldn't "Yakety Sax" be a more appropriate song? At least for the first half of the video? Those are some slim pickings. At least in the second half the Bears had (at one point) Luckman, Layne, Blanda, Meredith and Bratkowski.
Bussey could have been the best of them all
