I saw Richard on Morning Joe early today. I agree with everything he states but there are 3 problems he's going to run into.3 VERY BIG PROBLEMS! Prob 1: sniveling little whiney bitches like Olbermann will embrace him.Prob 2: Pricks like Beck,Limbaugh, etc.will dismiss him as 'The Hollywood Elite Left'. Prob 3? November 4th...VOTE SMART. Vote the constitution...if there is a candidate in your area that actually stands behind it.
The percentage of your taxes that go to feeding the hungry of America is insignificant compared to the amount that goes to oppressing and slaughtering the poorest people of the world. But please, continue bitching about the miniscule amount that may actually help someone.
I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Dreyfuss last week. I would have loved to pick his brain more. He is a WEALTH of information. He directed me to this video. I am active in politics as a volunteer treasurer for a US Senate candidate. Politically, I am an infant. But it doesn't take a genius to see we are losing here. I am one person (as he is) trying to do what I can to return to the People the Freedoms the Delcaration and Constitution has promised us. It was an honor to meet Mr. Dreyfuss.
Too bad he's said he'll never run for office. We're all the more unfortunate for it. Thoughtful, articulate, insightful.... doesn't sound like any politician I know.

he just challenged my mind. I thought for a long time it was pointless to exercise rights that where in paper though in real life didn't existed. now I understand that we can make those set of rights to manifest through action and acknowledgment.
